It would be week #6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football season, and the Peru Nighthawks would host the Saranac Lake Red Storm from the Apple Bow. The Peru Nighthawks would get off to a quick start and have a 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter on the Red Storm. The Nighthawks would keep the pedal down as they would get a 6-yard score from Landon Wilkins at the 3:15 mark and make it a 28-0 game. Then the Red Storm would get on the board with 1:53 left in the half on a 46-yard scoop and score of the Red Storm, making it a 28-7 game. Then, with 1- seconds left in the half, the Red Storm would score again on a 6-yard run to make it a 28-14 game as they head to the intermission. With under four minutes left in the third, the Nighthawks would extend the lead to 34-14 on a 1-yard run by Wyatt Bridges to make it 34-14. The game would stay there till the three-minute mark of the fourth when Carpenter would score on a 56-yard pass and catch it, making it a 41-14 game. Then, with 2:40 left in the game, Landon Wilkins would break off a big 73-yard run for the score and take the 48-14 victory, and from there, they would hold on for the win. In the winning effort, the Nighthawks go to 3-2 in the season as they will host the Ausable Valley Patriots next weekend. It would be week #6 of the Champlain Vallery Athletic Conference Football season, and it would see the Moriah Vikings traveling up to Beekmantown and taking on the #25 Beekmantown Eagles as the Eagles would look to continue their winning ways. The Eagles would get the scoring going in the first quarter at the 8:14 mark on the 43-yard run by Parker Broughton to take the 7-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 7:27 mark of the second quarter when the Vikings would strike for a 16-yard pass to Wyatt Whitman to tie the game at seven. The tie would be short-lived, though, as the Eagles would march down the field in 90 seconds and regain the lead at 14-7 on the 19-yard pass to Parker Broughton. Then, to close out the half, Patrick Hagadorn would hit a field goal to take the 17-7 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned for the second half, the Eagles would stay hot as they extended the lead to 24-7 on Shamus Bilbeau's 28-yard run. The way through the quarter, Shamus Bilbeau would strike again, this time from 11 yards, as they took control of the game at 31-7. The game would stay there till the 4:33 mark of the fourth quarter when the Vikings would get another score, this time from Joe Pelkey from 8 yards to make it a 31-13 game, and that's where the game would end. With the win, the Beekmantown Eagles would go to 5-1 on the season as they will host the Plattsburgh Hornets in their home finale. Beekmantown's Grace McCasland (3) with the shot on net as she would have a pair of goals in the game. It would be a battle inside the top 20 as the #18 Plattsburgh Hornets would host the #13 Beekmantown Eagles inside the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls's Soccer action as both teams start to make that late-season push for the playoffs. The Eagles would start the scoring in the 7th minute of the game as Grace McCasland scored to make it 1-0. The game would stay there till the 30th minute when Grace McCasland would strike again and make it a 2-0 Eagles lead, and that's where the first-half scoring would end. When the teams returned for the second half, the Eagles would stay on the attack and extend their lead to 3-0 in the 47th minute on the goal from Carly Hagadorn. The Hornets would get on the board in the 63rd minute on the goal from Bailey Hewson, and there would be a bit of history as she would get her 100th point in her career, making it a 3-1 game. From there, the Eagles' defense would take control of the game, and that's where the game would end. The Eagles, with their win, would stay perfect on the season at 11-0, while the Hornets would fall to 9-2 on the season. Gallery

So it would be week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season, and this time, we would go to Saranac Lake and Raymond Wilson Final, where the host #19 Saranac Lake Red Storm would host the #25 Beekmantown in a game of the undefeated Red Storm and 1 lose Eagles. The game would be tight throughout the first half. The Eagles would get the game's opening score on the Josh Sands 2-yard keeper at the 8:26 mark of the first quarter to take the 7-0 lead. The game would stay there til the 4:25 mark of the second quarter when the Red Storm would get on the board with their quarterback keeper as Zack Goetz would score to make it a 7-6 game, and that's where the game would enter the half. Both teams would be looking to break through in the matchup when the teams returned for the second half. The Eagles would answer that bell on the 29-yard run by Parker Broughton to take the 14-6 lead at the 4:54 mark of the quarter. The game would stay there till the 8:27 mark of the 4th quarter when the Eagles would extend their lead to 21-6 on the 16-yard pass to Patrick Hagadorn. The Red Storm would answer right back as they marched down the field, and Chris Martin would finish off on the 4-yard run to make it a 21-12 game. The Eagles would put the game out of reach with 1:16 left in the game when Shamus Bibeau would score from 9 yards out to open up the lead to 28-12, and that's where the game would finish. It would be the early season game in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season as the Beekmantown Eagles would travel to the Apple Bowl and take on the Peru Nighthawks as the classic rivalry would come again. The Eagles would get the game's opening score on the 56-yard run by Parker Broughton to get the scoring started. That game would stay till the second quarter when the Nighthawk would score 30 seconds in on the Trenton Taylor 18-yard touchdown to make it a 7-6 game. The Eagles would answer right back on their next drive on a 72-yard keeper by Josh Sands to give the Eagles the 14-6 lead. As time would expire in the 1st half, the Eagles would hit a 27-yard field goal by Patrick Hagadron to take the 17-6 lead into the break. The game would stay there till 10:43 of the third quarter when Josh Sands would have his second rushing touchdown of the day on the 29 yards, and the Eagles would take the 24-6 lead. Then, on their next drive, Parker Broughton would take off for 90 yards and score just 41 seconds into the 4th quarter to give them the 31-6 lead, and that's where the game would end. In the winning effort, the Beekmantown Eagles go to a 3-1 season as they will head to Saranac Lake next weekend and take on the Saranac Lake Red Storm. It would be Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Soccer action from the Beekmantown Sports Complex. It would be a battle between a pair of Class A teams as the Beekmantown Eagles would host the #6 Peru Nighthawks the early season game might decide who is the #1 seed in the playoffs at the end of the season as they battle to get in the state playoffs. The Nighthawks would get the game's opening goal in the 12th minute from Jordan Osborne who chested it in past the Beekmantown netminder. As they would go through the rest of the half the Nighthawks would have their chance to extend the lead but the Eagles goaltender would make some great saves to keep his team in the game and that's where the second half would end. When the teams returned for the second half the Nighthawks would continue to control the game but the Eagles would have their chances to get the equalizer. The best chance would be right near the end of the game when they would send their keeper up to add an extra man as they try to get the tying goal he would get the header but it would go over the top as the Nighthawks would get the 1-0 win. In the winning effort, the Nighthawks would stay perfect on the season at 8-0 as they head into their next game against the Northeastern Clinton Cougars.
