The game would stay there until the 5:29 mark of the second period, when Jacob Wheelin would extend their lead to 2-0, and that's where the second period would end. The Spartans would get on the board just 37 seconds into the third when Ryan Campbell would cut the deficit in half and make it a 2-1 game. Then, at the 10:52 mark of the third period, the Hornets would regain their two-goal lead at 3-1 on Colby Chase's power-play tally. The Spartans would have a quick answer just 53 seconds later when Elliot Batty would slip it by Hornets Owen Chapple and make it a one-goal game again at 3-2. Then just 90 seconds after, the Hornets would make it 2 goals again at 4-2 on the Cooper Hollad. Then, in the closing time of the game, the Hornets would add the empty netter from Alex Hanshaw to secure the 5-2 victory. It would be the battle of the top two teams in Section VII Boys' Hockey as the Beekmantown Eagles would host the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Lakers, with the winners taking over first place in the standings as they come down the stretch. The Eagles would take the 1-0 lead just 6:18 into the game when Pryce Parker would find the back of the net. There would be 2:45 left in the first period, and a hit would send an Eagle into the glass, shattering it and delaying the game for around 45 minutes. The teams would come back, finish the period, and play the second period, with no scoring, as both teams had their chances but couldn't light the lamp. The game would enter the third period when the Eagles would extend their lead to 2-0 at the 12:45 mark on Pryce Parker's second of the night. Then, just over two minutes later, the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0. The Lakers would get on the board in a span of 36 seconds from Braden Harvey and Ayden McCormick to make it a 3-2 game in the final minute, but the Eagles would add the empty netter from Pryce Parker to secure the 4-2 victory. Stafford Ice Arena, as the Beekmantown Eagles would host the Plattsburgh Hornets, with around 1,000 fans in attendance, all there for a good cause and hockey. The Eagles would waste little time in getting the opening goal of the game. Pryce Parker would knock a rebound past Plattsburgh's Owen Chapple for the 1-0 Eagles lead. The game would stay there all the way to the 3:13 mark of the 2nd period when Sam Bezio for the Hornets would beat Jack Bell and tie the game at one. From there, the teams would go back and forth for the next two periods, with both teams having their chance to score the go-ahead goal. Still, they couldn't get it online. The game would end in overtime, and in that overtime, Beekmantown's Pryce Parker would beat Plattsburgh's Owen Chapple with a goal on the short side as there were just five seconds on the clock. It would be the rematch of last year's Section VII Championship game as the Saranac Spartans would host the Beekmantown Eagles at the AC North Arena The game would remain scoreless until the 1:03 mark of the second period, when the Eagles would get the opening goal from Evan Bruyere and take the 1-0 lead The Spartans would waste little time tying the game at the 6:13 mark of the period when Gabe Moore would hit the back of the net, and that's where the second period would end, tied at one. Then at the 2:22 mark of the third period, the Eagles would retake the lead at 2-1 on the Edward Sweenor goal. Then, just 2:05 later, the Eagles would extend their lead to 3-1 when Mason Carter would add the power-play goal. Then, with just 1:52 left in the game, the Eagles would put the final touches on the game when Edward Sweenor would add his second of the game. In the Eagles' inning effort, Jack Bell would have 19 ss, and they go to 5-6-1 on the season. As for the Spartans, Teegan Vanvalkenburg would make 49 saves as they fall to 4-8 on the season. It would be the 3rd annual Amy McLane Memorial Scholarship game at the AC North Arena, and it would once again feature the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Saranac Spartans in front of a packed house. The Hornets would get the opening goal of the game at the 13:05 mark of the first period when Owen Dubay would light the lamp, and that's where the first period would end. The Spartans would answer at the 1:39 mark of the second period, when Brady McComber scored to tie the game at 1. The game would stay there till the 7:39 mark of the second period when Ben Bezio would give the Hornets the 2-1 lead. The Spartans would come back again and tie the game at 2 on the Deacon Giroux goal at the 13:26 mark. The game would not be rematched for Vong, as the Hornets regained the lead at 3-2 on Tames Bayer's goal, and that was where the period would end. Then at the 5:42 mark of the second period, the Hornets would take their first two-goal lead thanks to Ben Bezio at 4-2. The Spartans would answer back again at the 8:10 mark of the period when Gabe Moore would sink it by and make it a 4-3 game. The Hornets would answer back again and stretch their lead back to 2 at 5-3 when Sam Bezio scored. Then, in the closing time of the game, the Hornets would add the empty-netter for the 6-3 win.
