Both teams would have the offense going in the first quarter, and we would be deadlocked at the end of the first quarter at 16 a piece. The offenses were still hot in the second quarter as the Hornets would take the quarter 13-10, and the Hornets would take the 29-26 lead into the halftime break. When the teams returned for the third quarter, the Vikings would come out hot and look to return to the game. After the third quarter, they would take the lead with a 15-10 quarter and have a slim 41-39 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Hornets would take the quarter 15-13 and go to overtime tied at 54. Although coming down the stretch, both teams would have their chances to win it but couldn't cash in the winning basket. In the overtime period, the Hornets would have a 6-5 quarter, the Vikings would fall on the winning shot as the clock expired, and the Hornets would have the 60-59 victory. The game would be tight through the first half as the Cardinals would have the 45-40 lead in a breakneck pace game after the first half. In the second half, it would come down to the last 10 seconds of the game as the Cardinals would come down and hit a layup from Ikechukwu Ezikea to give them the 75-74 lead. But then the Bears would take the inbound pass with three seconds left, and Nicholas Cortez would hit a three-pointer for the win past half court to beat the buzzer as the Bears got the 77-75 victory. In the winning effort, the Bears' Nicholas Cortez would lead the team with 27 points as they go to 3-14 on the season and head into their next game against the Morrisville State Mustangs.
