It would start the 2025 portion for the Plattsburgh Hornets as they would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Basketball action. The Hornets would start hot, and their defense would be up to task as they would shut them out in the first quarter at 11-0. When the second quarter would get underway, the Sentinels would find their shot, get on the offense,e and get in the game with a 14-12, although they would have the 23-14 lead as the team would head into the halftime break. When the teams returned for the third, the teams would play another tight quarter with some high scoring as the Hornets would win the quarter 17-16 and take the 40-30 lead into the 4th. In the fourth quarter, defense would be the game's name as the Sentinels would try and get back in the game, but the 9-7 would not be enough as the Hornets would hold on for the 47-39 victory. With the win, the Plattsburgh Hornets go to 5-2 on the season as they head into their next game Thursday night at Saranac. As for the Ticonderoga Sentinels, they will fall to 3-7 on the season as they head into their game next week at the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Gallery
