SUNYAC Men's Basketball: Buffalo State Bengals @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals December 6th 2025

It would be the last Plattsburgh State Cardinals Men's Basketball game before the winter break, and they would take on SUNYAC foe the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 300 fans. For the first half of the first half, the game went back and forth, with both teams taking the lead, but the Cardinals took control and led 37-2 at the intermission. When the teams returned for the second half, the Cardinals took complete control with a 46-29 half, and they walked away with an 83-58 victory as they head into the break at 4-3. In the Cardinals' winning effort, Reem Welch led the way with 24 points. For the Bengals W, Imer Beard and Remi Skvoc would each have 11 points, as they fall to 4-4 on the season. Gallery

It would be the last Plattsburgh State Cardinals Men's Basketball game before the winter break, and they would take on SUNYAC foe the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 300 fans. It would be the last game before the winter break for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals Women's Basketball as they would host cross-state foe and fellow SUNYAC member the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 200 fans. The game would be tight through the first quarter as both teams were feeling each other out, and the Cardinals would have the slim 19-17 lead after one quarter. The Cardinals would start to find their groove in the second quarter, extending their lead to 22-12 and taking a 41-29 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter, the Bengals would do their best to get back in the game, scoring 15-11 to shrink the Cardinals' lead to 52-44. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do what they needed to do to keep the game in hand and win the quarter 14-12, securing the 66-56 victory. In the winning effort for the Cardinals, Kaelyn Morgan led the way with 16 points, as they go to 6-2 on the season. For the Bengals, Morgan Popp had 13 points, as they fell to 0-7 on the season. New York State High School Boy's Hockey: Lasalle Cadets @ Beekmantown Eagles December 5th 2025

Beekmantown's Jack Bell (31) comes out the night and challenges the shooter for the save the night on La Salle's Sam Branson (8). It would be the night of the 2025-26 NYSHPHSAA Boys' Hockey season, and it would see the La Salle Cadets travel up from the capital region to take on the Beekmantown Eagles at the Plattsburgh State Field House, as both teams would be looking to start their season off with a win. The first period would see both teams going through the motions as they tried to figure each other out, since there would be no scoring. In the second period, the intensity of both teams would pick up as they were looking for that opening goal, but there would be more time than anything with them a man down, then anything, as neither team would once again find the net, and they would remain tied at zero. In the third period, both teams would have their best scoring chances of the nig, ht but they still couldn't find the net, and the game would stay tied at zero. With the game tied at 0, they would head to five-minute overtime to decide a winner. Still, neither team could turn on the red light. As the BeeAsntown Eagles would start their season at 0-0-1, aack Bell would make 26 saves in the shutout, and they will be back at it tomorrow as they take on the Nisyuankain in search of that first win. As for the La Salle Caets, Alaina Winther would make 33 saves for the shutout, as they will also look for that first win as they finish off their road trip tomorrow against the Plattsburgh Hornets. Adirondack Winter Invitational Championship: Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks Vs Clarkson Golden Knights November 29th 2025

It would be the 4th and final game of the 2025 Adirondack Winter Invitational, and a title would be on the line as the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the Clarkson Golden Knights would battle at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 1,600 fans. The Nanooks would strike fast, taking a 1-0 lead just 2:11 into the game on Michael Citara's goal. The lead would be short-lived, as the Golden Knights answered back in the 6th minute with a Matthew Mayich goal, tying the game at 1. Then, with just 90 seconds left in the period, the Golden Knights would take a 2-1 lead on Jace Letourneau's goal. The Nanooks would keep fighting, and they would get the equalizer at the 8:48 mark of the second period on Michael CCitara'ssecond goal of the contest The game would stay there till the 17:28 mark of the third period, when Rylen Roersma would give the Nanooks the 3-2 lead and eventual game winner, as the Golden Knights wouldn'tt have an answer in the closing minute,s as the Nanooks wouldget the w In thewinningg effort for the Nanook,s Lassi Lehti would make 21 saves as they are crowned the 3rd annual Adirondack WinterInvitationall champions. The Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks are crowned the 2025 Adirondack Winter Invitational champions with the 3-2 win over the Clarkson Golden Knights. It would be the second day of the Adirondack Winter Invitational presented by the Golden Arrow Resort, and we would start with the Consolation Game between the St. Lawrence Saints and the UMass Lowell Riverhawks in front of 1,385 fans at the Herb Brooks Arena. The game would start well for the Riverhawks, as they got the opening goal just 6:33 in from Dillan Bentley to give them the early lead. The Riverhawks would keep it going, extending their lead to 2-0 on Dalyn Wakelly's goal at the 13:39 mark of the 1st. The Saints would keep fighting back and score three goals in four minutes over the last 6 minutes of the first period to take the 3-2 lead into the intermission on goals from Cayden Casey, Rasmus Santilli, and Sam Frandina. The game would stay there until the 11:53 mark of the second period, when the Riverhawks would tie the game at three on Dalyn Wakely's 2nd goal of the evening. With 30 seconds left in the second period, the Riverhawks would regain the lead at 4-3 on the Jay Ahearn goal. The Riverhawks would keep it going early in the third period when Dillian Bently would get his second of the night to give the two goal lead again 5-3 at the 3:22 mark of the period. Then, at the 13:13 mark of the third period, the Riverhawks would make it 6-3 on one Chris Delaney goal. Then, with 14 seconds left in the game, Dalyn Wakely would complete his hat trick and cap off a 7-3 win for the Riverhounds, who finished the game with an unanswered goal. In the Riverhawks' winning effort, they will go to 5-8 on the seas. Austin Elliott made 40 saves.
