The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Class B Semi-Finals Saranac Chiefs Vs Beekmantown Eagles October 29 2011

Saranac Chief's Nate Bedell (81) with the leaping catch over the middle of the field using those fingertips. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery

The bulldogs would get the straight-set victory 25-3, 25-13, 25-9. With the win, the Bulldog's make the return trip to the Section X Class D finals on Friday in Canton against the winner of Tupper Lake and Edwards-Knox. Gallery

Chateaugay Bulldog's Lindsey Matthews goes shoulder to shoulder with an Edwards-Knox defender. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would finish off the home portion of the schedule against the Edwards-Knox Cougars. The bulldogs would make easy work of the cougars as they would get the 6-0 win. In the winning effort the Chateaugay Bulldogs' would lock up the East Division and the #1 seed in the playoffs as the would improve to 10-0-1 in the division and 12-2-1 overall.

It would be a divisional match up that would see the Chateaugay Bulldogs host the Edward-Knox Cougars. The Bulldogs would come away with the 1-0 win as Devin Willis would get the lone goal in the first minute of the game on a feed from Chad Slalter. Eric Fleury would stop three shoots for the shutout. With the win the Bulldogs would inprove to 7-2 in the division and 10-4 overall as the Cougars fall to 3-4-1 in the division and 6-7-1 overall.

Ben Honahan would stop six in the shutout effort. With the win, the Huskies improve to 2-5-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the division.

The Bulldogs would get the first goal of the game just 4 minutes in from Hannah Cook. Then nearing the end of the half the Bulldogs would get the 2-0 lead on Kate Favaro. Then in the second half, they would add two more from Alexis Beach and County Boyea to get the 4-0 victory. In the winning effort, Holly Zeledenrust would stop five to gain the shutout victory. With the win, the Bulldogs would improve to 9-0-1 in the division and 11-2-1 overall.
