Plattsburgh's Ryan Craig (11) taps in the game-winner in overtime for his second goal of the night. Plattsburgh State Cardinals would defeat the Fredonia State Blue Devils 3-2 in overtime. The Cardinals would get the scoring started with 5 minutes left in the first for the 1-0 lead. Jared Dockings would give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead with 8 minutes left in the second. Then in the third period, Blue Devils would come storming with two goals in the period to force overtime. Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets February 1 2012

Chateaugay's Alexis Beach (10) with the steal at half court as part of her seven steals night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets 50-36. It was a battle for the east division lead. Both teams entered tonight's contest with only one league loss each and were tied for first place in east divisional play. Malayala Fleury had twelve boards and played a great all-around game. Alexis Beach had another stellar defensive effort for the win. Alexis bottlenecked their offense from baseline to the baseline. Alexis had seven steals in the win and three assists. Hannah Cook had five steals and three assists. Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 25 points. Malone's Mitchell Gallagher (32) with the contested hook shot in the lane for the score. The Malone Huskies would fall to arch-rival Massena Red Raiders 59-55. The Massena Red Raiders would lead the whole game although it would never get above a 10 point lead. The Red Raiders would hold a 24-16 lead at the break and then escape with the 59-55. Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) goes in for the lay up on the break. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Edwards-Knox Cougars 45-26. Plattsburgh State's Ryan Craig (11) taps in the pass on the 2 on 1 breakaway goal to get the games first goal. The Cardinals would race out to a 3-0 lead ten minutes into the first period and then need to hold on for the 4-3 victory. The Plattsburgh Cardinals would get three first period goals from Ryan Craig, Kyle Taylor, and Michael Cassidy. In the second period, Potsdam would get two goals in just over 30 seconds to make it 3-2 going to the third. Then in the third period, Potsdam would tie the game at 3 just 30 seconds into the period.
