Northern Adirondack Conference Volleyball: Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Massena Red Raiders October 24 2012

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would get the straight-sets victory over the Red Raiders by the scores of 25-13, 25-11, and 25-21. In the winning effort, Shelby Yunalavich would have a great services night and Catilin Miller would have a great net with five blocks on the night. With the win, the Bulldogs finish there regular season undefeated at 16-0 and go into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the Class D bracket. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Malone Huskies Vs Canton Golden Bears October 23 2012

Canton's Jake Oatman (15) heads the ball off the through and sends it into the Golden Bears attack zone. The Malone Huskies would host the Canton Golden Bears in ventral division action. The game would be scoreless throughout the first half. Malone would take the 1-0 lead in 47th minute on the Connor Dailey goal. The Huskies would strike again in the 53rd minute on Isai Pardone's goal to make it 2-0 huskies. The golden bears would try and make a come back as they would score in the 75th minute on the Jake Watson goal to make it 2-1. That is where the game would stay as the Huskies would get the 2-1 win. In the winning effort, Austin Lamay would have nine saves in the winning effort. With the win, the Huskies would go to 10-3-1 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs St. Lawerence Larries October 22 2012

Chateaugay's Brianna Cook with the one-timer on the net that goes just over the crossbar on the goal attempt. The Chateaugay Bulldogs host the St. Lawerence Larries on a senior day at Chateaugay as all the seniors were honored with there parents before the game. Once the game would start the Bulldogs would not waste much time in taking control. The Bulldogs score 1st minute on the Courtney Boyea goal. The Bulldogs would strike again in the 2nd minute on Alexis Beach goal. Then in the 10th minute Hannah Cook would score to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. The Bulldogs would extend the lead to 4-0 after Katie Beach's goal in the 15th minute. The lead would go to 5-0 in the 28th on Haylee Towers goal. The Bulldogs would end there scoring in the 42nd minute on Danielle Charland's goal. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would outshoot the Larries 27-2. With the win, the Bulldogs continue there undefeated season at 13-0. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference: Class B Semi-Finals #3 Saranac Chiefs @ #2 Beekmantown Eagles October 20 2012

Saranac's Matt McCasland (21) breaking through tackles along the sidelines as he works for first down marker. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. With the win the Chiefs season comes to an end at 2-6 and the Eagles go onto the championship next week against the Peru Indians. Gallery

Empire Football League Championship: #1 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs #3 Monroe County Sting October 20 12

Plattsburgh's Brian Stanley (28) with the hard hit on the Sting wide receiver to break up the play. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Monroe County Sting in the Empire Football League Championship. The North Stars would take the lead 7-0 after the first quarter. The Sting would take the lead 8-7 at the break. In the third quarter, both team's offense would go fast down and back and would be tied at 22 as the entered the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Stings would score to more times, and their defense would shut down the Northstars offense and get the 38-22 victory to earn the Empire Football League Championship. The Bulldogs would waste no time in getting the straight-set victory by scores of 25-17, 25-8, and 25-12. Chateaugay's Brooke Secore (11) with the tip shot at the net for a point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in modified volleyball action. The Bulldogs would make easy work of the Panthers as they would win three games to zero by scores of 25-12, 25-8, and 25-20. The Bulldogs would use the solid play all the way around and team to get the win. With the win, the Bulldogs continue the undefeated season at 11-0. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer Malone Huskies Vs #7 Chateaugay Bulldogs October 17 2012

Malone's Marissa Perez (11) with the header to send the ball into the attack ahead of Chateaugay's Katie Beach (7). The Malone Huskies would host their neighbors the Chateaugay Bulldogs in nonleague action. It would be a very competitive game all the way around. The lone goal in the game would come in 33rd minute as Courtney Boyea would find the back of the net for the Bulldogs. Malone would not give up and keep charging and even had a goal disallowed in the 15th minute on an offside call. In the winning effort, Makayla Fleury would have 10 saves on the night. Although losing Huskies goalie Jamie LaVoie would save 11. With the win, the Bulldogs continue there undefeated season and go to 13-0 as the Huskies would fall to 3-8-1. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer #7 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs St. Regis Falls Siants October 17 2012

Chateaugay's Hayle Tower (8) crashes into the St. Regis Fall's goalie Kaina Stowell and sends the ball just wide of the net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Fall Saints in east division action. The Bulldogs would get the scoring started in the 9th minute on Alexis Beac's goal to make it 1-0. The Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 in the 28th minute on the Courtney Boyea goal. The Bulldogs would end the scoring in the first half in the 35th minute on Hannah Cook goal. Then in the 61st minute Courtney Boyea would add her 2bnd goal of the night to make the score 4-0. Also in the 66th minute, Alexis Beach would make it 5-0 on her 2nd goal of the night. The Bulldogs would end the scoring in the 72nd minute on Sarah Gardiner's goal to make it 6-0. In the winning effort the Bulldogs keep there perfect season intact at 12-0. Gallery

Malone's Mikalya Pickering (7) and Potsdam's defender battle for the ball just outside the box as she was looking for the shot on net.The Malone Huskies would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in central division action. Potsdam would take the 1-0 lead in the 4th minute on Grant's goal and would not look back from there. Potsdam's Hildreth would make it 2-0 in the 13th minute. The Sandstoners would strike again the 35th minute on Dillon's goal to make it 3-0. That is where the score would remain until the 74th minute when Potsdam Rishe would score to make it 4-0. That would end up being the final as the Huskies would fall 4-0. With the lose the Huskies fall to 2-7-1 on the season. Gallery
