Plattsburgh Flag Football T. Malianakas Masonry Vs Northeast Monsters October 12 2014

It would be week five of the North Country Flag Football League as Malianakas Masonry would meet up with the Northeastern Monsters. It would be a game that Malianakas would control from start to finish where the Monsters would have a problem getting across midfield. When it was all said and done Malianakas Masonry would get the 25-0 win and go to 5-0 while the Monsters would fall to 0-5. Gallery

Plattsburgh Flag Football American Legion/SL Trucking Vs West Side Saints October 12 2014

West Side's Jeff Garrand splits the defenders with the spin and gains the extra yards. The American Legion/SL Trucking and West Side Saints would meet up in week four of the North Country Flag Football League. The American Legion would come to play as they would have shut down defense and good passing offense and take the 21-0 lead at the half. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and secure the 43-0 victory. In the winning effort, American Legion/SL Trucking would go to 4-1 on the season while the West Side Saints fall to 1-4. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 7 Saranac Chiefs Vs Plattsburgh Hornets October 11 2014

Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) with the touchdown after he catches the tip in the end zone. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in the first-ever Saranac River Bowl. The Hornets would take the 6-0 lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter. The score would stay there till the third quarter when the Hornets would get a second rushing touchdown to make it 12-0. Then later in the third quarter, the Chiefs would get on the board on a Hunter Church touchdown to make it 12-6. Then with about four minutes left in the game Caiden Goodman would catch a tipped ball in the end zone and tie the game up at 12. Then after a very short punt by the Hornets, the Chiefs would get the ball back and George Miller would take it up the middle for the winning touchdown with under a minute for the 20-12 victory. In the winning effort, the Chiefs would improve there record 2-4 while the Hornets fall to 0-6 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Volleyball Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Brushton-Moria Panthers October 10th 2014

Chateaugay's Erin Ashline (23) with the spike to the back corner for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X East Division volleyball action. The Bulldogs would make quick work of the Panthers as they would win in straight sets in around thirty minutes. The scores of the three games would the 25-14 25-12 25-16 as the Bulldogs continue there undefeated season at 12-0. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs #13 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets

Chateaugay's Tristan Dibble (4) shields Madrid-Waddington's John Lenney (21) from the ball to take the position. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #13 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in Section X East Division action. The Yellow would wast no time in taking advantage and scoring a goal on John Lenny's goal 42 seconds into the game to make it 1-0. Then in the 5th minute John Lenny would score again to make it 2-0. Then in the 13th minute, the Bulldogs would get on the board as Zack Cowan would score to make it 2-1 Yellow Jackets. From there on the rain and the good defenses would clamp down on the game and the Yellow Jackets would get the 2-1 victory. In the losing effort, Josh Trombly would make four saves on the night as the Bulldogs fall to 8-3 on the season.

The Bulldogs would get the straight-set victory all though they would be three hard-fought games. The Bulldogs would get the wins 30-28, 25-18, and 25-23 to continue there undefeated season at 11-0. Northern Adirondack Conference Volleyball Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Salmon River Shamrocks October 6 2014

Chateaugay's Kylie Hanley (35) with the tip shot at the net for the point. It would be a battle of a couple of the top teams in Section X Volleyball as the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Salmon River Shamrocks. The Bulldogs would get the straight-set victory by scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-10 to continue there undefeated season. With the win, the Bulldogs improve there record to 10-0 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer #11 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Brushton-Moria Panthers October 6 2014

Chateaugay's Brianna Cook (13) would send the ball between Brushton Moria's Kenna Terevanya (4) and off down the sidelines. It would be a battle at the top of the East Division inside of Section X Girls Soccer as the #11 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 18th minute on Danielle Charland's goal. Then in the 56th minute, the Bulldogs would extend there lead to 2-0 on Danielle Charland's second goal. Then in the 59th minute, the Bulldogs would make it 3-0 on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 69th minute, Katie Beach would score for the Bulldogs to make it 4-0. Then in the 70th minute, the Bulldogs would make it 5-0 on an Own goal. In the winning effort, Holly Zeldenrust would get the shutout victory making four saves as the Bulldogs go to 9-1 on the season.

Plattsburgh Flag Football T. Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking October 5 2014

T. Malainakas Chris Castine (5) lowers the shoulder and takes it up the middle for the gain. T. Malianakas Masonry would meet up with the American Legion/SL Trucking in week three of the North Country Flag Football League. This would be a early-season battle for the top spot in the league as both teams would coming in undefeated at 3-0 on the season. With that being said you could definitely tell this was top-level game. T. Malianakas would take a 14-0 lead at the half. In the second half the American Legion would try and make the comeback but it would come shortly as they would only get one score to make it 14-7. With Malianakas getting the 14-7 victory they would go to 4-0 while American Legion/SL Trucking would fall to 3-1 on the season. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 5 Saranac Chiefs Vs Au Sable Valley Patriots October 3 2014

Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) with catch and takes it up sidelines and lowers the head and goes head to head with the Au Sable Valley defender. The Saranac Chiefs would travel down to Clintonville and take on the AU Sable Valley Patriots in week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 7-0 at 7:07 of the first quarter on Dylan Clay's block punt recovered in the endzone for the touchdown. Then just about two minutes later the Chiefs would extend the lead to 14-0 on Zack Martin's 4 yard run. Then three minutes into the second quarter Zack Martin would score again 1 yard out and take the 22-0 lead headed into the half. Then in the third quarter Caiden Goodman would score on the 15 yard reception to make it 29-0 at 9:03 of third. Then in the closing seconds of the third Hunter Church would score from three yards out to make it 36-0. Then in the opening minute of the fourth quarter Skinadar would put the Patriots on the board with the 6 yard touchdown reception to make it 36-7. Then with under 6 minutes left in the game Hunter Church would get his second touchdown of the night on a 14 yard run to make it 43-7. From there on the Chiefs would hold on for the 43-7 victory. In the winning effort, Zack Martin would run for 123 yards and 2 scores as the Chiefs get there first win of the season and go to 1-4 on the season while the Patriots fall to 1-4 on the season.
