Adirondack Winter Invitational Championship: Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks Vs Clarkson Golden Knights November 29th 2025

Clarkson's Shane Soderwall (30) with the chest save on Alaska's William Lawson-Body (10) shot on net to keep his team in the game early. It would be the 4th and final game of the 2025 Adirondack Winter Invitational, and a title would be on the line as the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the Clarkson Golden Knights would battle at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 1,600 fans. The Nanooks would strike fast, taking a 1-0 lead just 2:11 into the game on Michael Citara's goal. The lead would be short-lived, as the Golden Knights answered back in the 6th minute with a Matthew Mayich goal, tying the game at 1. Then, with just 90 seconds left in the period, the Golden Knights would take a 2-1 lead on Jace Letourneau's goal. The Nanooks would keep fighting, and they would get the equalizer at the 8:48 mark of the second period on Michael CCitara'ssecond goal of the contest The game would stay there till the 17:28 mark of the third period, when Rylen Roersma would give the Nanooks the 3-2 lead and eventual game winner, as the Golden Knights wouldn'tt have an answer in the closing minute,s as the Nanooks wouldget the w In thewinningg effort for the Nanook,s Lassi Lehti would make 21 saves as they are crowned the 3rd annual Adirondack WinterInvitationall champions. Adirondack Winter Invitational Day 2: Massachusetts Lowell Riverhawks Vs St. Lawrence Saints November 29th 2025

St. Lawrence's Frankie Carogioiello (20) with the hard hit behind the net as they go after the loose puck on Mass-Lowell's TJ Schweighardt (4). It would be the second day of the Adirondack Winter Invitational presented by the Golden Arrow Resort, and we would start with the Consolation Game between the St. Lawrence Saints and the UMass Lowell Riverhawks in front of 1,385 fans at the Herb Brooks Arena. The game would start well for the Riverhawks, as they got the opening goal just 6:33 in from Dillan Bentley to give them the early lead. The Riverhawks would keep it going, extending their lead to 2-0 on Dalyn Wakelly's goal at the 13:39 mark of the 1st. The Saints would keep fighting back and score three goals in four minutes over the last 6 minutes of the first period to take the 3-2 lead into the intermission on goals from Cayden Casey, Rasmus Santilli, and Sam Frandina. The game would stay there until the 11:53 mark of the second period, when the Riverhawks would tie the game at three on Dalyn Wakely's 2nd goal of the evening. With 30 seconds left in the second period, the Riverhawks would regain the lead at 4-3 on the Jay Ahearn goal. The Riverhawks would keep it going early in the third period when Dillian Bently would get his second of the night to give the two-goal lead again, 5-3 at the 3:22 mark of the period. Then, at the 13:13 mark of the third period, the Riverhawks would make it 6-3 on one Chris Delaney goal. Then, with 14 seconds left in the game, Dalyn Wakely would complete his hat trick and cap off a 7-3 win for the Riverhounds, who finished the game with an unanswered goal. In the Riverhawks' winning effort, they will go to 5-8 on the seas. Austin Elliott made 40 saves. As for the St. Lawrence Saints, they will fall to 2-12-1 on the season, as CWinn made 40 saves on the evening. Gallery

Adirondack Winter Invitational Day 1: Massachusetts Lowell Riverhawks Vs Clarkson Golden Knights November 29th 2025

Clarkson's Shane Soderwall (30) with the stick save on Massachusetts Lowell's Mikko Buttazzoni (17) as he streaked in looking for the opening goal. The Clarkson Golden Knights and the Massachusetts Lowell Riverhawks would meet up for the second year in a row at the Adirondack Winter Invitational at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 1200 fans, as the Golden Knights would look to avenge their loss in the title game last year. The game would remain scoreless till the 6:15 mark of the second period when Ryan Bottrill would light the lamp for the Golden Knights' 1-0 lead. The Golden Knights would keep coming, and they would extend their lead to 2-0 at the 13:37 mark of the second period. Justin Cote would find the net. From there, the Golden Knights ' defense would stand tall. Shane Soderwall would make 21 saves for the shutout victory as the Golden Knights go to 5-10 on the season. As for the Riverhawks, Austin Elliott made 29 saves as the Riverhawks fell to 5-8 on the season. Both teams will be back in action tomorrow as the Clarkson Golden Knights will go for the title against the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks, while the Riverhawks will battle the St. Lawrence Saints for third place. Adirondack Winter Invitational Day 1: Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks Vs St. Lawrence Saints November 28th 2025

Alaska's Peyton Platter (24) knocks down St. Lawrence's Sam Frandina (16) as they go after the faceoff win the Alaska zone. It would be the opening game of the third edition of the Adirondack Winter Invitional from the Herb Brooks Arena and it would feature the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the St. Lawrence Saints in front off nearly 1100 fans. It would take till the 1:25 of the mark of the second period for the opening goal of the game as William Fleet would score for the Nanooks to get them 1-0 lead at the first period would be very defensive. The game would would not stay there long as the Nanooks would make it a 2-0 game at the 6:40 mark of the period when Michael Citara would score. The game would stay there throughout as the Nanooks wuld get the 2-0 victory and play for the crown in the Adirondack Winter Invitional tomorrow. In the winning effort for the Nanooks Lassi Lethi would make 19 saves for the shutout win as they go to 3-8-1 on the season. As for the Saints they would fall to 2-12-1 as Colin Winn would make 23 saves. The Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks will have the late game tomorrow against the Clarkson Golden Knights as the St. Lawrence Saints will have the early game against the Massuschusetts Lowell Riverhawks. SUNYAC Men's Hockey: Cortland State Red Dragons @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals November 22nd 2025

Plattsburgh State's Brannon Butler (23) with the crunching hit along the boards on the Cortland State defender as he is pancaked against the glass. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would face off against the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC Men's Hockey, celebrating their 50th anniversary season in front of 1,600 fans. The Cardinals would jump out to a 1-0 lead just 5:18 into the game on the Jake Sacratini goal. The game would stay there till the 5:08 mark of the second period when the Red Dragons would get the qualifier from Morley Phillips. Then, just 2:16 later, the Red Dragons would take the lead at 2-1 on the Matthew Despirit goal. The game would stay there until just 45 seconds into the third period, when the CardinaPls would tie the game on Lonan Bulger's goal at 2. In overtime, the Cardinals would get the game-winner on a 2 1 breakout play when Thierry Lizotte would tap in the rebound for the 3-2 victory. In the winning effort for the Cardinals, Beau Lane would make 29 saves as they evened up their record at 3-3 as they entered their annual Thanksgiving weekend tournament at Middlebury. SUNYAC Men's Hockey: Morrisville State Mustangs @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals November 21st 2025

Plattsburgh State's Vlad Pshenichnikov (14) with the quick wrister as the Cardinals are looking for the equalizer late in the game. It would be the 6th annual teddy bear toss night to benefit the local youth, as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the home portion of their SUNYAC season underway against the Morrisville State Mustangs in front of 1600 fans. The Cardinals would get the scoring going quickly, letting the fans launch the bears, as Aaron Catron scored at the 3:08 mark of the first period for the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there all the way to the third period when Tyler Zembryzycki would score for the Mustangs at the 7:18 mark to tie the game at one. Then the Mustangs would take the lead just 35 seconds later when Connor Santay would score to give the Mustangs the 2-1 lead. The Cardinals would keep fighting through the rest of the period, but they would not have an answer to give the Mustangs the 2-1 victory and their first conference win in their last 18 games. In the winning effort, Chad Lowe would make 43 saves as they go to 2-2-2 on the season. As for the Cardinals, Brady Spry made 24 saves as they fell to 2-3 on the season. Gallery

NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Plymouth State Panthers @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals November 1st 2025

Plattsburgh State's Colin Callahan (17) with the shot on net through Plymouth State's Brendan Doyle (14). The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would face off with the Plymouth State Panthers in Non-Conference action at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in front of 1400 fans. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead with just over three minutes left in the first period when Quinn Tavares would score. The game would stay there til there was 1:41 left in the second period when Blake Hall would score on the shorthand to make it a 2-0 game. The Cardinals would add a second shorthanded goal at the 1:59 mark of the third period when Josh Belgrave would score to make it a 3-0 game. Then, in the closing seconds of the game, the Cardinals would put the icing on the cake with Aaron Carter's goal to secure the 4-0 victory. In the winning effort for the Cardinals, Brady Spry would make 34 saves in the shutout win to go to 2-0 on the season. NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Castleton State Spartans @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals October 31st 2025

Plattsburgh State's Gabriel Filion (22) with the shot on net by the defender as he would have two goals on the night. It would be the 2025-2026 season openers for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Castleton State Spartans from the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in front of 1100 fans. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 16:51 mark of the first period. Patrick Cole would give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Spartans would answer right back 1:10 later on a shorthanded goal by Emmett McHardy to tie the game at 1. The Cardinals would come back and retake the lead at 2-1 on the Blake Hall goal 4:06 into the second period. Then, in the closing minutes of the period, the Cardinals would add three quick ones from Gabriel Filion (twice) and Aaron Catron to give them the 5-1 lead at the end of the second period. Then, in the third period, the Cardinals would put the icing on the cake at the 13:41 mark on the power-play goal by Jake Sacratini to secure the 6-1 victory. In the winning effort for the Cardinals, Dominik Bovan would make 22 saves as they went to 1-0 on the season. As for the Spartans, their goalies would combine for 19 saves as they fell to 0-1. ECAC Tournament Championship: #2 Clarkson Golden Knights Vs #6 Cornell Big Red March 22nd 2025

Cornell's Nick Desantis (28) with the goal on the break-in as he beats the sprawled-out Clarkson's Ethan Langenegger (1) to give the Big Red the 2-0 lead. It would be the 2025 ECAC Hockey Men's Hockey Championship from the famed Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, NY, and it would feature the #2 Clarkson Golden Knights going against the #6 Cornell Big Red, who are looking for back-to-back Whitelaw Cups in front of 6000 fans. The Big Red would get the game's first goal at just 5:11 when Ondrej Psenicka beat the netminder for the 1-0 lead as the Big Red looked to respond. Then it would be just 1:52 later when the Big Red would extend their lead to 2-0 when Nick Desantis would score his eighth of the season, and that's where the first period would end. The game would stay there till the 13:23 mark of the second period when the Golden Knights would make it a one-goal game at 2-1 on Erik Bargholtz's sixth goal of the season, and that's where the period would end. In the third period, the game would go back and forth with both teams having their chances to get one, including the tying goal by the Knights. Although the only goal of the period would be the empty netter by Ryan Walsh to seal the deal with 1:49 left in the game to give the Cornell Big Red their second straight title at 3-1 and punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. ECAC Tournament Semi-Finals: #2 Clarkson Golden Knights Vs #5 Dartmouth Big Green March 21st 2025

Clarkson's Ty Brassington (44) and Dartmouth's Cam Macdonald (15) have a meeting of the minds as they go after the loose puck at the blueline by the benches. It would be the second semi-final game of the day from the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, NY, as it would be a part of the championship weekend in front of 5300 fans. It would be tight through the first period as both teams would have chances, but no one could light the lamp, and there would be no score after the first period. The Golden Knights would get the game's opening goal at the 1:04 mark of the second period when Ryan Bottrill would score for his eighth goal of the season for the 1-0 lead. The Golden Knights would be able to double up their lead at 2-0 when Tristan Sarsland would score just over 4 minutes later for his eighth of the season, and that's where the second period would end at 2-0, Clarkson. When the teams returned for the third period, the Golden Knights would extend their lead to 3-0 just 4:54 into the period when Trey Taylor would score his 9th of the season. The Big Green would keep coming and get on the board with 4:28 left in the game when John Fusco scored his 11th of the season to make it interesting down the stretch. However, the Golden Knights would put the icing on the cake with 1:50 left in the game when Ayrton Martino would get his 25th of the season to secure the 4-1 win for the Golden Knights. In the winning effort for the Golden Knights, Ethan Langenegger would make 25 saves as they go to 24-11-3 on the season and advance to the ECAC Hockey Championship against the Cornell Big Red tomorrow. As for the Dartmouth Big Green, Roan Clarke would have 11 saves as the season ended at 18-13-2. Gallery
