Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer #12 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Colton-Peirpont Colts October 2 2014

Chateaugay's Rachel Young (3) goes shoulder to shoulder with the defender for the ball at midfield. The #12 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Colton-Peirpont Colts in Northern Athletic Conference soccer action. The Bulldogs would jump out quick and take the 1-0 lead on Katie Beach's 2nd minute goal. Then in the 13th minute the Bulldogs would extend there lead to 2-0 on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 32nd minute they would end there first half assault with Danielle Charaland's goal to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then when teams came back for the second the Bulldogs would insure the win on Brianna Cook's second goal of the game in the 40th minute to make it 4-0. From there on the Bulldogs would hold on for the 4-0 win. In the winning effort the Bulldogs goalies would combine for the shutout victory as they go to 8-1 on the season.

Chateaugay's Courtney Yando (4) comes in on the breakaway for the hard shot on net. The #12 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in Northern Athletic Conference action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead just 8 minutes into the game on Danielle Charland's goal. Then just a minute later Charland would get her second goal for the 2-0 lead. Then in the 24th minute, Alica Cook would strike for the Bulldogs and take a 3-0 lead and into the half. When the teams returned for the second half it would be more of the same as Katie Beach would score in the 48th minute to take a 4-0 lead. Then in the 50th minute, Danielle Charland would finish her hat trick for the 5-0 lead. Then in the 60th minute, Alica Cook would score her second of the night to make it 6-0 and from there on would hold on for the 6-0 win. In the winning effort, Bulldog goalies would combine for the shutout and go to 7-1 on the season.

Plattsburgh Flag Football T. Malianakas Masonry Vs Northeast Monsters September 28 2014

American Legion's Trevor St. Clair (5) with the over the shoulder catch in the open field. It would be week 1 of the North Country Flag Football League between the Northeast Monsters and American Legion Post 1619/SL Trucking. It would be tight throughout the first half with both teams scoring just once and having a 6 all tie. In the second half though American Legion would step up there game and push across three scores while allowing none as they would coast to the 27-6 victory. With the win the American Legion win they start there season at 1-0 while the Northeast Monsters are 0-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh Flag Football West Side Saints Vs American Legion 1619/SL Trucking September 28 2014

West Side's Nick O'Merea with the leaping catch along the sidelines. The American Legion 1619/SL Trucking would meet up in week 2 of the North Country Flag Football League. The American Legion defense would be up the task they would shutout the West Side Saints in the first half and take a 13-0 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and the American Legion would add another score and take the 20-0 victory. With the win, the American Legion/SL Trucking would go to 2-0 while the Saints fall to 1-2. Gallery

Plattsburgh Flag Football West Side Saints Vs Northeast Monsters September 28 2014

Monsters receiver with the leaping catch along the sidelines over Saints Tevin Conners. West Side Saints would meet up with the Northeast Monsters in Week 2 of the North Country Flag Football League. The West Side Saints would take a slim 7-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, the teams would trade scores and the West Side Saints would secure the 14-6 victory. In the winning effort, the West Side Saints go to 1-1 while the Northeast Monsters go to 0-2. Gallery

Empire Football League Semi-Finals #1 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs #4 Glens Falls Greenjackets September 27th 2014

Plattsburgh's Tevin Conners (3) would knock the ball loose as Mark Passaino (25) would bring down the runner and recovery the fumble. The #1 Plattsburgh North Stars would host the #4 Glens Falls Greenjackets in the Empire Football League Semi-finals. The North Stars would take the 13-0 lead after the first quarter on a pair of Matt Doucher touchdowns. Then in second-quarter Matt Doucher would get his third touchdown of the night along with a kick return for a touchdown. The Greenjackets would get on the board with an interception return to make it 29-7 at the half. In the second half the North Stars would pick up right where they left off as Matt Dourcher would add two more scores and Dexter Geoghan would get one as the North Stars cruise to the 53-14 victory. With the win, the Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red Black for the championship. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 5 Saranac Chiefs Vs Au Sable Valley Patriots October 3 2014

Beekmantown's Steven Sweeney (50) with the crushing tackle on Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) as he releases the pass. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley season. The Eagles would take a 10-0 lead after the first on a touchdown by Justin Stevens and a field goal. The Eagles would extend the lead to 24-0 at the half on a pair of Tyler Newman touchdowns. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Eagles control would continue with Justin Stevens second and third touchdown to make it 38-0. Then in the fourth quarter, the Eagles would get two more scores an interception for a touchdown by Brandon Peryea and a running score by Handy to secure the 53-0 victory In the winning effort Justin Stevens would run for 246 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles go to 3-1 while the Chiefs fall to 0-4 on the season. Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs St. Lawrence Larries

Chateaugay's Patrick Boyea (11) with the sliding shut as he pulled down from behind and is awarded a penalty shot. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St Lawrence Larries in Section X Boys Soccer action. The game would be scoreless through regulation and would go to overtime tied at zero. Then in the 2nd minute of overtime Reid Laplante would score the lone goal of the game with Nick Ashline picking up the assist. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would make two saves for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 5-2 on the season.

Chateaugay's Kayla Legacy (4) with the spike down the line for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Gouvenour Wildcats in section x Volleyball action. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would make quick work of Gouvenour with the straight-sets victory it just about 45 minutes. They would win the games 25-8, 25-7 and 25-14. With the victory, the Bulldogs stay undefeated on the seasons at 6-0. Gallery

Chateaugay's Katie Beach (7) with the shot from just outside the 6-yard box for the goal. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in Section X Girls Soccer action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 21st minute on Danielle Charland's goal. Then in the 50th minute, the Bulldogs would extend the lead to 2-0 on Alica Cook's goal. Then in the 67th minute, the lead would go to 3-0 on Katie Beach's goal. Then to finish off the game the Bulldogs would add one more to secure the 4-0 win in the 78th minute Kayley Whyte's goal. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would combine for four saves in the shutout victory as they would go to 5-1 on the season.
