The Icemen would waste little time in a taking the 1-0 lead at the three minute mark of the first period from Colby Munson. The game would stay there til 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29 the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power play goal to make it 7-2. Then about 90 seconds later the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Connor Toomey's goal. Then to close out the period at the 16:59 mark the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on Michael Cassidy's goal. Then just seven seconds into the second period the Cardinals would make it 4-0 on Kyle Hall's shorthanded goal. Then at the 2:19 mark of the second period, Patrick Hermans would make it 5-0. The game would stay there till the 1:38 mark of the third period when Luke Baleshta would make it 6-0. Then finally at the 16:46 mark of the period, Cortland State would get on the board with Nick Zappia's goal. The Red Dragons would have the slim 41-37 lead-in after the first. In the second half, the Cardinals would make up the difference winning the half 47-43 to force overtime tied at 84. In the overtime, the Red Dragons would hit a 2 pointer with 2.4 seconds left to win it 94-92. Then the Cardinals would get on the board at 12:21 mark of the third period on Mark Constantine's goal to make it 2-1 to make it a game down the stretch. Then with under 5 minutes left in the game Lakers' Bobby Gretsakis would score on the power play to put the game away for the Lakers at 3-1. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet with the Colton-Pierpont Colts in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would get off to a quick start and take the 16-5 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the teams would trade basket and tie at 12 although they would have 28-17 lead at the break. When the teams returned for the third quarter it would be a defense quarter with the Bulldogs winning it 9-5 to take a 37-22 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would win the quarter 11-3 and get the 48-25 victory. The game would stay there till the 6-minute mark of the second period when Hornet's Devin Clarke would score to make it 1-1. The Huskies would regain the lead at 2-1 on Evan Keegan's goal at 12:59 of the second period. Then at 2:57 of the third period Huskies, Kyler Head would make it 3-1 with a shorthanded goal. Then at the 8:42 mark of the third, the Hornet's would do there best to get back in the game with a power-play goal by Andrew Bechard to make it 3-2. Although it wouldn't be enough and from there the Huskies would hold on for the 3-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Joey Brown makes 28 saves and the Huskies go to 1-0 on the season. It would be week two of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit the Plattsburgh Pioneers and Plattsburgh Honeybadgers. The Honeybadgers would bring there A-game tonight and the Pioneers would be on their heel from the start. The Honeybadgers would win the first half going away 35-7. In the second half, the Pioneers would do there best to make it a game but the Honeybadgers just had too much today winning the half 34-16 and getting the game 69-23. With the result of this game, both the Honeybadgers and Pioneers would go to 1-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be a battle of the top two teams in the nation for the Cardinal/Panther Classic Championship as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and Elmira Soaring Eagles would do battle. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead with 4:12 left in the first period on Caitlin Gilligain's goal. Then at the 10:23 mark of the second period, the Eagles would tie the game up at one on Johanna Eidensten's goal. Then just 12 seconds into the third period Shannon Stewart would score on the powerplay to make it 2-1 Cardinals. Then just over three minutes, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Melissa Sheeran's goal. Then another three minutes later Cardinal's Mia Favretto would score to make it 4-1.
