The game would remain scoreless through the first of the game but that would not be without both teams having their chances to get the opening goal of the game but the goalkeepers would be up to the task. The Thoroughbreds would get the opening goal of the game just 2 minutes into the second half when Ella Stone broke through for the opening goal of the game. The Thoroughbreds would keep the gas pedal and would double their lead to 2-0 just five minutes later with Ella Stone's second score of the game. Then in the 62nd minute of the game, the Thoroughbreds would take control of the game as Ella Stone would add her third goal of the game and put a stranglehold on the Cardinals. The Cardinals would not go quietly though as they would keep fighting for the last 28 minutes of the game but they would be unable to find the back of the net for the score as Skidmore would get the 3-0 victory. In the winning effort, Skidmore goes to 4-0-1 on the season while the Cardinals fall to 1-3 as Lauren Haley would make seven saves on the night. The Cardinals will be back in action on September 14th as they will welcome in the RIT Tigers. Gallery
