SUNYAC Men's Basketball: Buffalo State Bengals @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals December 6th 2025

Buffalo State's Chisom Ani (7) with the block on Plattsburgh State's Irwayne Connell (35) to deny the score. It would be the last Plattsburgh State Cardinals Men's Basketball game before the winter break, and they would take on SUNYAC foe the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 300 fans. For the first half of the first half, the game went back and forth, with both teams taking the lead, but the Cardinals took control and led 37-2 at the intermission. When the teams returned for the second half, the Cardinals took complete control with a 46-29 half, and they walked away with an 83-58 victory as they head into the break at 4-3. We would have NJCAA Division III Region III Men's Basketball from Clinton Community College, with the home Cougars hosting the visiting Jefferson Community College Cannoneers, who would get back on the winning track after yesterday's loss to Onondaga Community College. The game would be tight through the first half as the teams would trade the lead back and forth, and when the intermission hit, the Cannoners would have the slim 36-34 lead. When the teams returned for the second half, the Cannoners would explode out of the gate and take a quick 16-point lead and look to have the game in hand. Although the Cougars would give everything they could to get back in the game and, at one point, had it within four in the closing minutes, the Cannoners would win the half 52-44 and secure the 88-78 win. Fulton Montfomery Community College Raiders @ Clinton Community Cougars November 12th 2025
Clinton's Jay-den Matos (1) goes up and around the defender for the basket as part of the 90-76 win over Fulton Montgomery Wednesday night. The Clinton Community College Cougars would be back at home as they welcomed the Fulton Montgomery Raiders, a fellow Region III opponent, looking to build on their win last week in the early season. Both teams entered the game at 1-1. The teams would play at a high-octane pace, up and down the court, and the first half would be tight throughout, with the Raiders leading 52-47 at the break. When the teams returned for the second half, the Raiders would keep it up and extend their lead to almost 15 before the Cougars would start to find the nylon, before they would turn up the jets and be off to the races as the Cougars would win the half 48-31 and secure the 90-76 victory. Norwich Cadets @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals November 11th 2025
Plattsburgh State's Irwayne Connell (35) drives to the basket past the defender for the score as part of his nine-point night. It would be the home opener for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals, as they would host traditional non-conference foe the Norwich Cadets from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference on Veterans Day, in front of 500 fans. The game would go back and forth in the first half, with both teams leading but always staying within 10 points, and the Cadets would have a 41-37 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the second half, the Cardinals' defense would step up as they would hold the Cadets to just 19 points for the half, while the offense would get out there and score 30, as the home Cardinals would secure the 67-60 victory as they go to 2-0 on the season. In the winning effort, the Cardinal Reem Welch led all scorers with 24 points. For the Cadets, they will fall to 1-1 on the season, and Michael Ndayishimiye would lead the way with 21 points.
