The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a doubleheader over the Fourth Ward Athletics by scores of 15-0 and 14-11. In-game one the Athletics would have no answer for Matt Rivers has would go the complete game striking out three and giving up just two hits. The Padres would score early and often as they would get two in the first, one in second to make it 3-0. Then in the third the Padres would explode for five runs including a three-run homer from Joey Painter to make it 8-0. Then in the fifth, the Padres would finish it off with a seven-spot as the Athletics pitcher was having problems locating the plate for the 15-0 final. Then in game two, they would trade runs in the first to make it 1-1. The Padres would take the 2-1 lead after two. Then in the third A's would come back and tie the game at 3. Then in the fourth the Padres would take 10-5 lead on the seven-run inning on the strength of Nick Desrochers and Mark Eggleston's back to back home runs. In the fifth, the A's would trim the lead to two runs at 11-9 on the strength of a four-run inning. Then the teams would trade runs over the remaining innings to make the final 14-11 Getting the win in relief was Matt Rivers. Plattsburgh Cardinals Alex LaFountain (7) slides in safe at third base just ahead of the tag of Airborne Speedway's Shane Perrotte (2) for the triple. The Plattsburgh Cardinals would sweep the Airborne Speedway Padres 4-1 and 8-6. The first game of the day would be tight through and the Cardinals would just come up better with the timely hitting. In-game 2 the Padres would hold a 6-1 lead heading into the sixth inning and then wheels would just fall off as errors would kill them in the remaining two innings and give up seven runs. With the sweep, the Cardinals go to 9-3, and Padres fall to 5-7 on the season. Gallery

The Malone Post 219 would fall to the Hudson Valley Renegades 6-4 in the opening game of the Mehan/Turner Tournament. The Renegades would take the 1-0 lead in the first and then in second Malone would tie it up at 1. The game would remain there until the Renegades would get four in the fifth to take the 5-1 lead. Malone would answer back with two in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-3. Then in the sixth, the teams would trade runs to make it 6-4. Airborne Speedway's Frank Brogna (5) with one of his twelve strikes outs as he pitches the no-hitter. The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a doubleheader with the Meron's Expos 9-0 & 12-0. In-game 1 it would be close at 2-0 until when the bats would explode for 6 runs to make it 8-0. Then to finish off the game the Padres would add one more to make it 9-0 for the victory. The story of the game would be Frank Brogna as he would go the complete game strikeout twelve and give up no hits for the no-hitter. In-game two the Padres bats would stay hot as the would get to expos early by getting six in the second and five in the third and finish it off with one in the fourth for the 12-0 win in five innings. Leading the way offensively for Padres would Eric Bell with a home run and Joey Painter with a three-hit game. On the mound, Matt Rivers would give up just three hits and strike out two. The Saranac Chiefs team poses for there team photo as the 2012 Section VII Class B champions. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Beekmantown Eagles 6-5 ton win the 2012 Section VII Class B Championship at Chip Cummings field. The Chiefs would get on the board with a 2 run rbi single by Kasey Favreau for the 2-0 lead. The Eagles would answer back to tie it at the top of the third at 2. Although at the bottom of third the Chiefs would get four runs to get the 6-2 lead. Then in the fourth inning, the Eagles would cut the lead in half at 6-4. Then in the seventh inning, the Eagles would get 1 and leave the baseloads as the Chiefs would get the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort, Tanner Rascoe would go 6 2/3 while striking out and Ben Weightman would come into getting the last two outs for the to save for there first sectional title in 4 years Gallery

The Ticonderoga Sentinels celebrate as the 2012 Section VII Class C champions. It would be the Ticonderoga Sentinels vs Moriah Vikings in the title game at Chip Cummings field. The Sentinels wouldn't leave anything to chance as they would get 11-0 lead. The Sentinels would single runs in the first and second for the 2-0 lead. Then the Sentinels would open it up with three in third for a 5-0 lead to break it open. Then would get a pair in the fourth for the 7-0 lead. Then in the sixth they would put the icing on the cake with four runs for the 11-0 win. In the winning effort, Ticonderoga's Tanner Wright would go the distance for the victory for a three-hit shutout. Gallery.

The Saranac teams all come out to home plate to celebrate Tanner Rascoe go-ahead home run in the fourth inning. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 5-2. The Cougars would get the opening shot with two runs in the first to take 2-0 lead. Then over the remaining six innings Kasy Favreau would quite the Cougars and the Chiefs would get five unanswered runs. The would get one back in the third on Brady Burleigh's RBI double to make it 2-1. Then in fourth, the big shot would be made on Tanner Rascoe's three-run homer to give the Chiefs a 4-2 lead. Then in the sixth inning, the Chiefs would add an insurance run on Austin Velie's RBI single. In getting the win for the Chiefs Kasey Favreau would go the distance striking out five, five hits, and four walks. The Chiefs will play Wednesday for the Section VII championship. Gallery

Plattsburgh States Pedro Gonzalez (25) with the diving catch in center field. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would split a doubleheader with the New Paltz Hawks. The Hawks would win the opener 5-0. Then the Cardinals would come from behind to game two 3-2. In the first game, it would be scoreless until the seventh inning when the Hawks would strike for five runs and hold on for the win. Then in the second game, the Cardinals would get the early 1-0 lead on Damian Tyler's Sacrifice Fly scoring Kris Cauchon. The Hawks would gain the lead 2-1 with two runs in the third inning. Where the score would remain until the eighth inning when the Cardinals would two runs. The game would be tied to Mike Vaques RBI single. Then the game-winner would come on Pedro Gonzalez's RBI single. In the winning effort, Marc Plante would go seven strong innings giving up 2 runs scattering 9 hits and striking out 3. The Pirates would take the early 1-0 lead. Then from the fourth inning on the Bulldogs would get ten unanswered runs. As they would get five runs in both fourth and sixth innings. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would go the distance striking out three and giving up four hits. With the win, the Bulldogs advance to the semi-finals against the Heuvelton Bulldogs. Gallery
