The Bobcats would completely dominate the Saints throughout the first as they would 39-24 at the half. In the second half it would be completely different as the Siena would battle all the way back and tie the game up with a 51-36 half to send the game to overtime tied at 75. In the the overtime the Saints would hit one near the end to send it to a second overtime at 86. In that second overtime the Bobcats would hit a three pointer as time expired to send us to a third overtimme tied at 93. In that third overtime the Saints just ran out of as gas they Bobcats win the overtime 14-7 to secure the 107-100 victory. Plattsburgh State's Jonathan Patron would be honored before the game as he would become the all time scoring leader in time history with over 1,800 points. As for the game it would be SUNYAC foes Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting the Cortland State Red Dragons as they battle for second place in the conference. The Cardnals would use the home court to take the early control of the game as they would race out to the lead and have a 49-39 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game out of it and win the second half 38-32. Although it would not be enough as the Cardinalsd would take the 71-67 victory. In the winning effort the Cardinals would go to 18-4 while Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 23 points. The game would go back and forth throughout the first with many lead changes and when all said and done it would be tied at 41 at halftime. The #17 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host fellow North Country foe Potsdam State Bears in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals would show off there 17 ranking in the first half they would cruise out to a 38-27 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Bears would not give you up and would win the half 49-41. The game would come down to a Brandon Johnson three pointer with 1.5 seconds left in the game for the Cardinals to get the hard fought 79-76 victory. The Saints would come out use the home court to there advantage and take a 36-25 lead at the break. When the teams back for the second half they would take complete control of the game and win the half 39-29 and cruise to the 75-54 victory. The Vermont Catamounts would host the Northeastern Huskies in nonconference action. The game would be right where it started at the half as the teams were tied at 29 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Catamounts would take control of the game and at one point have a 13 point lead although the Huskies would not go away and would get it down to five points as Vermont would win the half 46-41 and secure the 75-70 victory.
