Canadian Big Block Series @ Airborne Park Speedway September 7th 2025

Felix Roy (91) gets around Jack Speshock (08) for the lead of the 75-lap Canadian Big Block Series event and would win the race and the championship for the series. It would be the 15th race of the 2025 season from the Airborne Park Speedway as we would start the last month of the season with a bang as the Canadian Big Block Series in there 5th season would make there first ever appeance to the track and $5,000 would be on the line for the winner and a championship as it would be there last race of the season series, Along with the Big Blocks, the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, Pro Stocks, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, Crown Vics, Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified, and Mini Stocks were all in acton. After the heat races, it would be onto the features for the night, and the first one out of the box would be the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified for 20 laps, and Parker Dermody would get off to the lead off the start of the race. Still, Gary English would be on the chase from his 4th place starting spot, and the two of them would duke it out for the win, and Gary English would get the win on a pass in the closing laps. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Renegades for 25 laps, and eleven cars would take the green, with Billy Thwaits taking the lead off the start. Still, the man who would be dominating the season would be coming as Tylor Terry would get around for the lead and claim his 9th race win of the season. Then it would be time for the big show as the Canadian Big Block Series would take the track for their 775-l75-lape event. Zero cars would take the green flag to the big payday. Jack Speshock would get the lead off the start of the race with an early challenge from Jackson Gill for the lead, and then he would start to pull away. Still, there would be a charge coming from the middle of the pack in the likes of Felix Roy and Tim Fuller, and around lap, Felix Roy would get around Speshock for the lead, and Fuller would keep coming and eventually battle Roy for the lead in the closing laps. There would be a pair of green and white checkers to finish the race, and Felix Roy would get the win over Fuller and Gill and also claim the championship in the series. Then it would be on to the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, and 27 cars would take the green in the 25-lap race. It would see Fire Swamp get the lead at the start of the race. Still, it would be in hot pursuit early from Jamy Begor as he was trying for his first win in a couple of seasons, but Fire would slowly keep pulling away. Still, there would be another challenger coming late in the race as Michawl Wright would be looking for his second win in three weeks, but in the end, Fire Swamp would hold on for the win. Then we would have the Pro Stocks, with ten cars taking the green as they chase the $ 1,000-to-win purse. It would see Zack Daniels get the lead off the start of the race, but he would have a challenger the whole night in the likes of last year's track champion, Marc Lalonde, but Daniels would hold on to get his second win of the season at Airborne Park Speedway. Then the Crown Vics would come to the track as seven would be in attendance as they race for 15 laps, and Eric Friend would get the lead of the start, but he would have to deal with former Renegades champion Richie Turner, and halfway through, Turner would get around him for the lead and then hold on for the win. Then the last race of the night would be Mini Stocks. It would see Randy Martin get the lead at the start of the race and get out to a big lead, but Tyler Bell would just keep chipping away at the difference, and then in the last corner of the last lap, Martin would slide off the track in three, and Tyler Bell would go around him for the win. The track will be back in action next Sunday, September 14th, with their second Sunday rac,e as it will be championship night for the 358 Modifieds. Gallery

Friends Construction Night of Features @ Devils Bowl Speedway August 16th 2025

Bob Kilburn (77j) goes underneath Katrina Leclaire (12) in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified second feature for the very popular win. It would be the 12th race of the season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway. It would be the Night of Features presented by Friend's Construction, featuring the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, Mini Sprints, Crown Vics, and Mini Stocks all in action. The first feature of the night would be the Friend Construction Mini Sprints. Gage Provencher would charge through the field to secure his 6th win in the last seven races, but he would face a challenge from Alyssa Vanderpool. Then we would have the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified in their 115-lap affair that would see Jim Mattison take on all challengers and get his first-ever victory. Then it would be the headline division, the Sunoco Sportsman Modified.
The race would feature a battle up front between Joey Scarbrough and Brent Warren, with Scarbrough emerging victorious and extending his points lead. Next, the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified would take the stage for its 20-lap race. A battle for the win would ensue between the early-season points leader, Alex Layn, and Cody O'Brien, with Layn emerging victorious. Then, it would be the 9th State CCannabisCrown Vics in their 12-lap contest, where Jarrod Colburn would secure his first win in the division. Then we would start the second round of features with the Friend Construction Mini Sprints and would see an early race crash that would take out 3 of the top 4 in the points. Although that would not take away from the competition up front, as it would be a great race between Alyssa Vanderpool and Levi Cram to give Vanderpool her first win of the season and tighten up the points race. Then it would be the second feature for the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified.
The race would be intense up front, with Hurlburt, Matt Little, and Chris Sumner fighting for the win. Ultimately, Trevor Hurlburt would emerge victorious. Then it would be the second feature for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, and the race would be between Randy Ryan and Billy Lussier. It would see the hometown kid, Billy Lussier, get a very popular win. Then it would be the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified in their 20-lap event. It would be an early race battle between Katrina Leclaire and Kyle Kerr, with Leclaire having the lead. Still, there would be a man in a red suit who would stick his nose in the fight as Bob Kilburn would first get by Kyle Kerr for second. Then he would take the fight to Katrina Leclaire, take the lead about halfway through the race, and secure it, ultimately taking it to the house for the win in front of a crowd that would be going insane. Then we would have a pair of split mains for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks and the first one would see a great batrle between Anthony Johnson and Jaco Mallory for the lead and win until the last few laps when Mallory would wash up and take him and Johnson out as they went for the win in the closing laps and Adam Stewart would inherit the lead and take the win. In the second feature, Damian Olden and Jeremy Brownell would compete, with Brownell securing the feature win. To finish off the night, the 9th State Cannabis Crown Vics took place, with Brad Cram charging from his last-place starting spot to battle Ward Colburn and Chad Merrill for the win. Cram ultimately secured the victory on this night. The Devil's Bowl Speedway will be back in action next weekend with the Charlie LaDuc Memorial. Gallery

Mini Stock Special @ Airborne Park Speedway August 14th 2025

JP Corrow (61) and Caleb Tourville (42) battle for position as they both come from way back in the feild to go after the win and it would see JP Corrow cash in for the big payday. It would be the 12th race of the 2025 season from the Airborne Park Speedway, and the main event would be the 20-lap $1,000 to win for the Mini Stocks. Also in action on this evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and the Limited Sportsman Modified. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature of the evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, and there would be 14 cars that would take the green for the 30-lap feature. The early race up front would be between George Foley and Tanner Siemons, and it would see Foley pull away for the lead. Although it would see Mike Mahanney overcome his 9th place start and battle Foley for the lead, and take it as they went high in turn one for the lead, from there Mahanney would cruise away for the win and extend his points lead over Tim Fuller as we are closing in on the track championship. Next up is the Mini Stocks, with $1,000 to win in a 20-lap event featuring 24 cars. You could see that everyone was after the big pay, as it took multiple starts to get past one lap on the board. There would be a good battle up front most of the race between Speedy Bressette, Glen Engstrom, and Nick Harnden, who would swap the lead on multiple occasions. Still, there would a hard charger coming rom deep in the feild of JP Corrow and after there was some contact coming into the last corner on the last lap Corrow would be able to stink by and gethis 4th win of the season and claim the $1,000 first place check. Then it would be time for the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified and there 25 lap event that would see Chris Cayea get the lead off the start but it would be Michael Wright that would get around him for the pass and would hold that lad ao the last lap when the yellow call would go out setting up a two lap dash for the cash. In the front row for the restart would be Michal Wright, the six-time track champion Nick Heywood, and Michael Wright would get the good start and hold on for his first career win. Then we would have the Renegades for their 220-lap race, and it would see Nathaniel Guay go wire to wire for his first win of the season over Shawn Duquette and Brad Bushey. To finish off the night, the Limited Sportsman Modified would take the stage, with Sarah Ann Lauziere going wire to wire for the win, wrapping up the night of racing. The Airborne Park Speedway will be back in action next Thursday night with the Sportsman Special and the starting spot in the Vermont 200 on the line. Gallery

The Showdown on the Boarder 50 August 4th 2025

Mat Williamson (6) with the pass on the highside of Jackson Gill (60) as they battle for the win in the Short Track Super Series race for his second straight win. It would be the second straight night of action for the Short Track Super Series as they would head down the St. Lawrence River and Route 37, making their second annual trip to the Mohawk International Raceway and the running of the Showdown at the Border, along with the Sportsman Modified and the 4 Cylinders After all the quafying races were done the first main of the night would be the Short Track Super Series and there 50 lap evet and the race would actual go caution free but that would not mean the racing wasn't intense on the track. Jackson Gill would take the lead from the start of the race and would hold it until around lap 15, when Mat Williamson passed him for the lead. From there, Williamson would pull away from the field. The battle for third place that night would be between Matt Sheppard, David Hebert, and Chris Raab, with each taking third at different times. Ultimately, Matt Sheppard secured third and completed the podium. As for the winner, it would be Mat Williamson for the second straight, and he would cash in the ten grand check. Although Matt Sheppard would continue to pad his points lead in the North Series by 131 points over David Hebert. Next up would be the Sportsman Modified for their 335-lap event with zero cars in the pit. However, only the top 26 would be selected for the main event. The event would also go caution-free for the 35 laps. Josh Jock would take the lead from the start and try to pull away from the field as they pursued the $2,000 first-place check. Although there would be challenges, such as a pair of ine cars with Tyler Peet and Joe Toth, and with around ten laps to go, Tyler Peet would get around him for the lead and get the win on the night, and also keep his points lead on the STSS series. To finish off the night, the 4 Cylinders would take the stage, with 27 starting, as they pursued the $800 first-place check in their 20-lap event. The race would see CJ Lavair start on the pole and lead the whole way for the win, although he would have a challenge from the winner of the previous night at Can Am Speedway, in the likes of Corey Valade, and moving up 11 spots from where he started, Mathieu Voghell would round out the podium. The Mohawk International Speedway will be back in action on August 15 with a regular show, along with backpack giveaway night. As for the Short Track SuperSeries, they will return to action on August 21 with the Dirty Jersey from the New Egypt Speedway. Gallery

The Gloves are Off 51 @ Can AM Speedway August 4th 2025

Matt Williamson (6) with the pass on Jack Lehner (02) as they battle for the lead, and Williamson would get the win on the night. It would be the first-ever visit to the Can-Am Speedway for the Short Track Super Series, and the Gloves Will Come Off 51 for the Big Block Modifieds. Also in attendance would be the Sportsman Modified and the 4 Cylinders. After all the heat races were run, the first feature of the night would be the main event of the evening with the Short Track Super Series. Twenty-two cars would make the bell to battle for the $5,000 first-place prize. The leader at the start would be Zack Payne. He would be pulling away until there was a mid-race caution that would bunch up the field, and Matt Williamson would start on the outside, and that would be it, as Matt Williamson would take the lead and just be pulling away. The show of the race would be watching Matt Sheppard come from the back of the pack after a mid-race pit stop, picking them off, but he would just run out of time, finishing 5th on the night. As for the win, it would go to Matt Williamson and Tim Fulle, and Chris Raabe would round out the top three. Next up would be the STS Sportsman Modified, as they would send 26 cars to the ring to go after the $$ 1,051 win. As for the race, it would be over before it got underway, as Donovan Lussier would start on the pole and go wire to wire for the win, although it would not go without challenge, as Cedric Gauvreau would get second, and Tyler Peet would finish out the top three. The night would conclude with the 4 Cylinders, which might have been the highlight of the night. The top four, Corey Valade, Tony Frezzo, Francis White, and Jared Gibson, would trade the lead throughout the race until Corey Valade pulled away down the stretch to claim the win. The Short Track Super Series returns tomorrow, August 5th, as they head up Route 37 to invade the Mohawk International Raceway. Rutland Regional Medical Center Local Heroes Night @ Devils Bowl Speedway July 19th 2025

It would be the battle up front between mother and daughter for the win in the O'Reilly Limited Sportsman Modified event as Bobbi Hults (28x) would beat her daughter Katrina Leclaire (12) to the checkered flag. It would be the ninth race of the 2025 season from the Devils Bowl Speedway, and it would be Rutland Regional Medical Center Local Heroes Night, with all six divisions in attendance. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified Twin 20s would be the headliner of the night. After all the heat races were completed, the first feature of the night would be the first of two twin 20s for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. It would be a battle up front between mother and daughter for the victory as Bobbi Hults would get the win over her daughter Katrina Leclaire in the 20-lap affair. Next up would be the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, and it would see John Smith take the lead from the start of the race. However, the defending track champion, Gage Provencher, would chase him down from a considerable distance and secure his fourth win in his last five races. Next up would be the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap event, where Brent Warren would take the lead from the start of the race. However, it would be short-lived, as Dave Camara would pass him for the lead, and then the battle would be on between him and defending track champion Tim LaDuc. LaDuc would get to the line first for his first win of the season. Then on track would be the 9th State Cannabis Crown Vics for their 15-lap event, which would once again see Eric Friend get the win over TJ Knight for his fourth win of the season. Then we would have the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified for their 220-lap event, a nd it would see Mark McGinnis lead the whole race for his first career victory. However, it would not be without competition. There would be multiple green-white-checkered finishers in the other race. Then it would be time for the second of the Twin 20's for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. It would see Tyler go wire to wire for the victory. Then it would be time for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks that would have split features on the evening and would see Dawson Thompson get the lead off the start of the first one, but Jeremy Brownell Jr would get chase him down from the 14th starting spot and get around him for the win after Thompson pulled off In the second feature for the Mini Stocks it would see Brian Blake get the lead off the start of the race. Still, this time it would be the other half of the Brownell racing family getting the win on the night, completing the father-son wins of the night. Then, to finish off the night, it would be an Enduro 50 lap event, and it would see its third different winner of the season, as Jason Porter would start at the tail of the field and come all the way up for the victory. Sprint Cars of New England @ Devils Bowl Speedway July 12th 2025

It would be a battle for the win between Kyle Smith (17s) and Chase Moran (4p) as they duke it out for the win, and it would see Moran get the victory. It would be the first trip of the season for the Sprint Cars of New England to the Devils Bowl Speedway, with the other divisions competing on the evening including the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, and the Mini Stock, all in front of a packed crowd. After all the heat races were run, the first feature of the night was the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified, a 25-lap affair. This feature saw a battle at the front between Katrina Leclaire and Freddie Little, with Little taking the lead and holding on for the win. The main event of the Sprint Cars of New England's 25-lap edition would be a slow start, but once underway, Chase Moarn would charge from tenth place to win, engaging in a multi-lap battle with Kyle Smith for the top spot. Then we would have the Sunoco Sportsman Modified in there thirty lap edition, and for most of the night it would be AJ Munger and Marty Kelly III battling for the lead, which would see Munger pull away. Still, there would be a late race charge from Josh Masterson for the win, but Munger would hold on for the win. Then we would have the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Stocks for their 15-lap go-around, and for the early part of the race, it would be a battle between John Smith and Christopher Pierce for the lead. They would trade it back and forth a few times, but the defending champion Gage Provencher would charge to lead and secure the win late, earning his third win of the season. Then we would have the Hosier Novice Sportsman Modified for their 20-lap event, and it would see Mark McGinnis have the lead off the start, but Matt Little would come up from his 4th place start to lead and pull away for the win to give the Little family their second win on the night. To wrap up the night, the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks would take to the track for a 15-lap time race. They would complete eight laps, with Jerry Jordan emerging as the winner. The Devils Bowl Speedway will come back to life next Saturday night, July 19th, as it will be Hometown Heroes Night. Gallery

Clinton County Fair Tractor Pull July 8th 2025

James Bray and his Change Orders go boom during his pull in the Limited Pro Tractors class; he would end up finishing 6th with a pull of 214 feet. It would be the opening hook of the 2025 season for the New York State Tractor Pullers Association, and they would return to the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburgh, New York, for the first time in over 25 years. They would bring 4 of their top divisions with the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks, Modified Tractors, Super Stock Diesel, and the Limited Pro 4.1 Diesel Tractors in front of a packed house. There would be problems with the track throughout the night because the new clay laid before the fair had not had time to settle. After the first class, the New York Tractor Pullers would actually flip the track and pull in the opposite direction. The first class out of the gate would be the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks, and it would see eight of the best hook to the new clay, and when the dust settled, The Hulk and Jonathan Zakarauskas would get the win by 4 inches over Mad Dog and Todd Jarvis, and just 4.5 feet over White Lightning and Alex Otis. Then it would be the Limited Pro 4.1 Tractors, and there would be ten that would show up to start the season, and the win would go to No Common Cents without question, as he would win the class by over 15 feet on Pure Breed Red and Tyler Audet. Then next up would be the Super Stock Diesel, and they would have 11 in the class, and the win would go to the nameless Chris Komarony with a pull of 318.86 to beat out Burt Stannard and Determination by over ten feet. Then, to finish out the night, it would be the mighty Modified Tractors, and they would be bringing three of the best for the crowd, and the New Yorker and Lee Bement would get the win over Heaven Can Wait and Ken Angell by nine feet. That would end the night of pulling and the return of the New York Tractor Pullers to the Clinton County Fair. Clinton County Fair Pro Rodeo July 7th 2025

Austin Stewart was wrestling the steers and secured the win in 8.1 seconds on the night. It would be the second annual Clinton County Fair Pro Rodeo brought to you by the Lucky E Rodeo Production, as they would be on their road to the International Pro Rodeo Association World Finals in front of a full grandstand, so they would all be chasing the money, along with the bragging rights. The first discipline up would be the Bareback Rodeo, as Tate Papszycki would get the win with a score of 72 by 1 point over Kenneth Glick, and Matthew Smith would round out the top three. Then it would be time for the Saddle Bronc. Only one rider would make the full 8 seconds, and that would be Caden Lowe with a score of 64, who would win just over a thousand dollars. Then we would have the tie down roping, with only two roping the calf. Gabriel Bergeron would win it with a 12.2 over Austin Stewart and get the $700 first-place check. Then it would be time to wrestle the steers, and Austin Stewart would be the best of the bunch with a time of 8.1 and beat out Trevor Graham with a 10.6 and get the $513 first-place check. Then we would have the team roping, and the team of Rounds and Quinn would beat out the other team by 2 seconds. They would each get $707 for the win. In the newest discpkne breakaway roping, Dede Koryto would get the only qualified time at 3.4 and win $1100. Then it would be time for the speedsters as the girls would race the barrels, and Britney Butzer would get the win with a 14.47, just under a second over Kayla Somero, and get the $568 first-place check. Then, to finish off the night, it would be the popular bull riding, and there would be three guys who would attempt to ride, but none of them would make the full eight seconds. That would do it for the competition on the night, and the plans are underway for their return next year and the third edition of the Clinton County Fair Pro Rodeo. Gallery

Md Season Championships @ Devils Bowl Speedway July 5th 2025

We would have three wide racing for the win in the Dirtcar 358 Modified feature as Mike Mahaney (35), Josh Masterson (11x), and Felix Roy would all battle for the lead off of the fourth corner, with Roy getting the eventual win. It would be the ninth race of the 2025 season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, marking the time for the mid-season championships. There would be double features for all divisions in attendance. The first feature we will discuss is the pair of features for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, which will be 25 laps in length. In the first feature, the battle up front would be between Josh Leclaire and Adam Piper. Leclaire captured the flag for his first win of the season. Thennin their seconddfeatureanner Siemons gggot theead off the start, and Troy Audet wcchallengedohim r the win, auultimately getting tohe checkered first .. en we would have the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified for their tttwin 20sIn the first race, Ed Bell would get the lead off the start, but William Lussier would challenge him for the win. Lussier would secure the victory and his first win of the season. Then in the second feature, it would see Steve Miller start in the front row and look back as he would go wire to wire for the win. Then it would be time for the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified for a pair of 15-lap races. In the first race, it would be no contest as Jason Kerr would go wire to wire from the pole for the win. In the second one, Raelin Dunham would start in the next-to-last row and work her way up for the win, keeping the point standings close as they entered the second half of the season. Then it would be time for the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints featuring the dirty dozen. In the first one, Jordan Zakrzewski would take the lead at the start of the event, but Gage Provench, starting from the next-to-last spot, would work his way up for the win.
Then in the second feature, Jordan Zakrewski would get the lead off the start again, but this time Scott Bachand would chase him down for the win, securing his second victory of the season after going zero for 40 years to start the season. Then it would be two 20-lap features for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks. Cody Dion would get the lead off the star, but early-season points contender Tyler Bell would come charging from the 13th starting spot for the win on the night. Then in the second feature, Damian Olden would get the lead off the start of the race, but Ryan Patch would charge up from the 7th spot and get his first win of the season when it would be the 9th State CaCannabisrown Vics in their air of 1212-lapeatures a. In the first one, it would be a battle between Brad Cram and T.J. Knight, and Knight would get the win. As for the second feature, it would be the Eric Friend show, as he would start in the last position and work his way all the way up for the wi Then to finish off all the racing it would be a pair of features for the Dirtcar 358 Modifieds in there 25 lap battles in the first race it would be Dave Camara that would get the lead off the start. Still, it would not be an easy one, as Felix Roy would challenge him for the win, but the Flash would secure it. In the second feature of the night, Walter Hammond Jr. would get the early lead of the race, but he would also be challenged by Hollywood Felix, whom Roy would be able to get around for the victory. The Devil's Bowl Speedway will be back in action next weekend as the Spint Cars of New England will make their first appearance of the season. Gallery
