Northern New York Truck and Tractor Pullers & New York Hot Farm Seris: Franklin County Fair Truck & Tractor Pull August 4th 2024

Mike Overpeck and Social Distancing blowing diesel down the track to 299 feet for a fourth place finish in the Hot Farm class. It would be the annual truck and tractor pull from the Franklin County Fair and a combination show between the Northern New York Truck and Tractor Pullers and the New York Hot Farm Series and would see a combined 85 hooks on the day. There would be all different types of trucks and tractors on the day from stock trucks and tractors to the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks and the Altered Stock Tractors in front of a crowd of about 1,000 people in the grandstands. We would start the day with the stock tractors and there would be 6 classes on the day the winners would be Alle Friend, Gene Chauvin, Charley Botto (twice), and Josh Carter (twice). Then we would have the Altered Stock Tractors and the winners in the afternoon would be John Myers. Then to finish off the tractor portion of the show we would have the New York Hot Farm and the winners would be Mike Hessling, Cody Eisenhut, Matthew Loucks, and Spencer Meade. Then, in the afternoon the rain and the break would be the evening portion and it would be nothing but trucks and start with the Stock Trucks and the winners would be Paul Fitzgerald, Will Dushane, and Erick Dushane. Then in the Super Stock Trucks, it would be Todd Jarvis and Mad Dog over the Yellow Fever. Then to finish the day of pulling it would be the Pro Diesel Trucks and Mike Wilson and Fred would win over Gary Corey Pure Sugar by 2 feet. There will be a second day of pulling at the Franklin County Fair on the last day of the fair on August 11. Gallery

Alex Otis and White Lighting on a dirt-slinging pass that would take him to a 4th place finish at 306' in the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks class. DNA Motorsports Presents Franklin County Fair Demolition Derby August 3rd 2024

Tom Pickering (6) and Michael Wright (76) go back bumper to bumper as they battle for the win in the Semi Stock Compact Main as Pickering would get the best of him that night. It would be the return of the annual demolition derby at the Franklin County Fair and for the second year in a row, it would be run by DNA Motorsports for the first time in nearly 30 years the demolition derby would be back to a one-day show with all the classes competing starting at 2 pm and going til they ran all. As normal for the Franklin County Fair Demolition Derby, it would start with the kids' power wheel derby and then they would have their induction into the demolition derby Hall of Fame this year there would be three new members to the hall. As for the action on the track it would start with a pair of powder puff classes in the compact and the full-size division with the St. Marys taking the crown. Then it would be onto the heats for the stock and full-size cars. Then we would eventually get to the mains on the night and the first one would be the vans and the winner on this night would be Travis Aiken. Then it would be onto the bone stock full-size cars and the winner would be Robert Begor as it would come down to him and Jerry Streeter at the end. Then it would be onto the truck feature and they would keep it in the family as it will come down to father and son and Brad Wheeler would get the win. Then we would have the stock compact feature and the winner on the night would be Devon LaFlesh over a pair of the King boys. Then we would have the Semi Stock Compact feature and we would see Tom Pickering getting the win. Then to finish off the night off smashing and crashing we would have the semi-stock full size and when the dust settled it would come down to a Barney and Stockwell with the win going to Eric Stockwell. The next derby that these guys will be looking at will either be at the Vermont State Fair in Rutland, Vermont, or the Essex County Fair in Westport, NY the weekend of August 16th-18th both being presented by DNA Motorsports. Jack Bone and the Barnyard Bully wth a pull of 274 feet that would give him a sixth-place finish in the Super Farm Tractors class The New York State Tractor Pullers would make their annual return to the Franklin County Fair to close out the week at the fair and also end a four-day stretch of pulling for the NYTPA. The NYTPA would bring six classes for the evening with the Modified Tractors, Super Stock Tractors, Super Stock Trucks, Super Farm Tractors, Limited Pro Tractors, and the Two Wheel Drive Trucks with a total of 40 entries. First out of the box would be the Super Stock Trucks and the winner would be All Bottled Up and Dan Komarony with a pull of 314 feet beating out the Mad Dog by four feet for the win. Then next up would be the would-be Limited Pro Tractors and the winner would be Roddy Burns and Blindside by just over three feet over the Udder Obsession. Then we would have the mighty Two Wheel Drive Trucks and the winner would be the Bear Express as he would put about 20 feet on the competition as the old Ken Brockman Kodiak truck lives on. Then we would have the Super Farm Tractors and the first tractor out the Addiction and Nate Williams would lay down the mark to beat and they would all come after him but Extreme Pleasure would come the closest but would still be nine feet away to give the Addiction the win. Then we would have the Modified Tractors their numbers might have been small but they were not lacking in power as one had two jet turbines and the others were both with allision aircraft engines and the jet turbines would get the win with Lee Poement and the New York. Then to finish of the evening would be the Super Stock Tractors and the win would go to Robbie Horton and the Lil Less Patience by just over foot over Lance Micek and High Hopes. The NYTPA will be back in action in just three short days as they will invade the Delaware County Fair on August 16th. Gallery

Burt Stannard and Determination carried the wheels down the track for a run of 254 feet for a fifth-place finish in the Super Stock Tractors class. It would be the second night of demolition derby action at the Franklin County Fair as they would return for the smashing and crashing action. This time we would have the return of the compact and full-size cars along with the addition of the powers wheels for the kids along with the popular vans would there make their one appearance at the fair this year. It would be another smashing and crashing affair at the fairgrounds with the long track and no rain that night the drivers were able to get up some good speed and have some heavy-hitting making the mad dog hard to call in many heats on the night for the ticket to the main. When the hitting would stop and the calm would come upon the field the winners on the night would be Kayla Lamica (Compact Cars), Jason Marlowe (Full-Size Cars), and Jacob St. Mary (Vans). Gallery

It would be a rainy night on the track and the mud would be a slinging on the track. The biggest attended division on the night would be the compact cars as they would have 5 heats of around 12 cars each/ They would put a twist on their event though this year as they would name their mad dog after the first two minutes of each heat and at that point, that driver had advanced to the main event on the evening. When the mud would stop flying on the night the winners would be Alex Martin in the compact cars, Logan Secore in the trucks, and Kaylee Marlow in the women's division. Gallery
