It would be the Clarkson Golden Knights hosting the Vermont Catamounts in the home opener at Cheel arena. The game would would take a while to get going as the game would still be scoreless after the first period. The Golden Knights would take the 1-0 lead 6:43 into second period when Zach Tsekos would score on the power play to make it 1-0. The Catamounts would fight there way back and tie the game up at 1 at the 12 minute mark of the period on the Joey Cipollone goal. We would go to the third tied but the Catamounts would take the lead 2-1 quickly into the period on the Christian Evers goal. The Golden Knights would give up though as they would tie the game up at the ten minute mark when Zach Tsekos gets his second of the night. The Golden Knights would regain the lead 3-2 on Zach Tsekos third goal of the night. From there the Golden Knights would hold on for the win. In the winning effort Frank Marotte would make 31 saves as the Golden Knights go to 2-0-1 while the Catamounts fall to 0-1. Gallery

Adirondack's Desmond (37) with the check of the Railers offense man and knock him off the puck. The Adirondack Thunder would host the Worcester Railers in the season finale of the East Coast Hockey League. The Thunder would get the first goal of the game halfway through the first period on the goal by John Edwards. The game would stay there til the 2:35 of mark of the second when the Railers would tie the game at one and then eventually take the 2-1 lead at 7:25 of the period. The Thunder come right back and tie the game up a minute later and John Edwards gets his second goal of the game. The Railers would not give up and tie the game back up halfway through the period at 3-2 and take that into the third period. The Thunder would tie the game up at three just three minutes into the third period on the James Henry goal. Then just 90 seconds later Matt Salhany would score to give the Thunder the 4-3 lead. The lead would last til the last 90 seconds when the Railers would score with the extra man to force overtime. In the overtime it would not be the Thunders game as Railers would score two minutes in as the Thunder would fall 4-3 in overtime. In the losing effort the Thunder would lock up the second seed in the ECHL playoffs and host the Manchester Monarchs. Gallery

The 2019 ECAC Hockey Championships Finals would come down to #2 Cornell Big Red and the #3 Clarkson Golden Knights and also would be a pair of top ten teams in the country vying for the conference automatic bid into the NCAA Championship at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid in front of 5700 fans. The Big Red would get the important first goal of the game from Noah Bauld at the 7:29 mark of the first period. Although in a matter four minutes between period the twelve and sixteen minute mark of the first period Devin Brosseau would get two powerplay goals and give the Golden Knights a 2-1 lead after the first period. The game would remain there for the longest time as both teams were very evenly matched. Although with just under six minutes left in the game the Big Red tie the game up on the Tristan Mullin goal and would be enough to send the game to overtime. In that overtime period it was starting to look like we might be heading for a second overtime until Chris Klack would knock in the rebound and give the Clarkson Golden Knights 2019 ECAC Championship for the first time sense 2007. The #3 Clarkson Golden Knights would meet up with the #4 Harvard Crimson in the semi-finals of the ECAC Championships demi-finals at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 4800 people, The Golden Knights would open up the scoring just 2:30 into the game on the Haralds Eagle goal. Then just over three minutes later the Knights would extend there lead to 2-0 on the Anthony Callin goal. The game would stay there till the thirteen minute mark when the Golden Knights would score again this time from Nicco Strum for the 3-0 lead. The Crimson would answer right back a minute later on the Adam Fox goal to make it 3-1. Then just over a minute into the third period Harvard's Jack Rathbone would score to make it a 3-2. Although the Golden Knights were having nothing of it as they scored twice from Jack Jacome and Jordan Schneider to secure the 5-2 victory. In the winning effort Jake Keily would make 26 saves as the Golden Knights advance to the finals of the ECAC Championship against the #2 Cornell Big Red. Gallery

Cornell's Morgan Barron (14) with rebound goal to extend the lead. The #2 Cornell Big Red would meet up with the #8 Brown Bears in the semi-final of the ECAC Championships at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 4800 fans. The Big Red would open the first period with three goals setting the tone early with three goals in the period including two goals on one major powerplay with goals coming from Matthew Nuttle, Noah Bauld and Tristian Mullin. In the second period the Big Red would extend there lead to 4-0 on a goal from Morgan Barron on the powerplay at the thirteen minute mark. In the third period the Big Red would score two more from Joe Leahy and Kyle Betts to secure the 6-0. In the winning effort Matthew Galajda would make 30 saves in a shutout effort as they would advance to the ECAC Championships finals and face the winner of Clarkson and Harvard. Gallery

The Adirondack would finish off a three game weekend home stand with the Reading Royals as they make a late season push for the top spot in the north division in front of 2900 fans. The lone goal of the first period would come from the Royals Kevin Goumas at 6:37 of the period for the 1-0 lead. As for the second period the Thunder would tie the game up at the seven minute mark on the Kelly Summers goals right off the face off. Then the Thunder would pull ahead 2-1 at the 11 minute mark on Hans. Gorowsky goal his first goal as a profesional. Although the Royals would answer back with 2 power plays goals in the final 90 seconds of the period from Josh McDonald and Chris McCarthy to give the Royals the 3-2 lead as we entered the final period. In the final period it would take the Thunder til four minutes left in the game before they would score and tie the game up on Hans Gorowsky second career goal and second of the night. The Thunder would take the 4-3 lead 38 seconds later on the Dylan Walchuck goal and the Thunder would get two empty net goals to secure the 6-4 victory and get the rare 6 point weekend. In the winning effort Hans Gorowsky would score twice with his first two pro goals and Cam Johnson would make 29 saves on the night in an emergency start. Gallery

The Adirondack Thunder would host the Newfoundland Growlers on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Night. The battle would be on between the Thunder and Growlers as they fight for first in the division. The Growlers would get the opening goal of the game 1:55 in from Zach O'Brien for the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 6:36 mark of the second period when Brian Ward would score to tie the game at one. The Thunder would take the 2-1 lead on the Kelly Summers goal at the thirteen minute mark. Then in the 16th minute mark the Thunder would extend there lead to 3-1 on Connor Reilly first goal of the night. In the third period the game would turn into a shootout as both teams would score three times. Although scoring for the Thunder would be Brian Ward and Connor Reilly (twice) to complete the hat trick on the night and give the Thunder a 6-4 victory. In the winning effort Connor Reilly would lead the way with three goals as the Thunder get with in nine points of the division lead headed down the stretch. Gallery

The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 Brockport State Golden Eagles in the Quarterfinals of the SUNYAC Tournament. The Golden Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead just 2:17 into the game. That would be the only scoring all the way til the 6:48 mark of the third period when Matt Araujo would score to tie the game at one. The Cardinals would take the lead just 80 seconds later on Cole Stallard's goal to make it a 2-1 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add a empty netter in the closing minute from Ross Sloan to secure the 3-1 victory. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 7:59 mark of the first period from Christian Difelice. The Cardinals would waste no time make it 2-0 just 36 seconds later on Ryan Kuhn's goal. The game would remain there all the way til the third period when the Lakers would score at the 9:38 nark. From there the Cardinals would fight to keep the one goal lead and get the 2-1 victory. In the winning effort Jimmy Poreda would make 32 saves as the Cardinals finish the season at 12-11-2. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as they fight for playoff positioning. The Cardinals would strike quick on Andrew Pizzio's goal at 1:34 of the first period to make it 1-0 Cardinals. Then at the 5:50 mark the Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on Phillip Middleton's goal. Then with 6 minutes left in the period Ian Keller would score for Cortland to cut there lead in half at 2-1. The game would stay there til nine minute mark of the second period when Cam Owens would score for the Cardinals to regain the 2 goal lead at 3-1. Then just about two minutes later the Cardinals would score again to make 4-1. That is where the game would stay til the 11 minute mark of the third period when Cole Stallard would score for the Cardinals and secure the 5-1 victory.
