Chateaugay's Seth Young goes in for the layup off the window for two of his five points on the night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would start off their league portion of the season hosting the St. Regis Falls Saints. The game would go back and forth throughout the night with many lead changes. The Bulldogs would have the 16-12 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, the Saints defense would step up and hold the Bulldogs to six points and the Saints would lead 27-22 at the break. Throughout the rest of the game, the teams would play very even basketball although the Bulldogs just couldn't get over the top and fall 50-47. In the losing effort, Noah Bowes would lead the Bulldogs with 21 points. With the lose the Bulldogs fall 1-2 on the season. Gallery.

The Bulldog's defense would be stellar as they would hold the Saints off the board until there were two minutes left in the half. Then Bulldogs would just put it on cruise control on their way to the 42-6 victory. Leading the way would be Hannah Cook with ten points. With the win, the Bulldogs start there season at 1-0. Chateaugay's Devin Barnes (33) crashes into the defender for the basket for two of eight points on the night. The start of a new basketball season would bring a new start to Chateaugay basketball as Mike Martin would start his tender as the boys head basketball coach. The season would start as it always does with the Bobcat Shootout in Ellenburg as they would take on the St. Lawerence Larries. The Bulldogs would show there newest as they would trail 20-15 after the 1st quarter. Then in the second quarter, they start to hit there groove as they would take a 36-35 lead at the break. The third quarter would be very even as the Larries would take the 48-47 lead into the fourth. In that fourth quarter though the Bulldogs would outscore the Larries 14-7 to get the 62-54 win. In that winning effort, Noah Bowes would lead all scorers with 33 points and the Bulldogs start the season at 1-0 after a very physical contest. Gallery.

The Chateaugay Bulldogs pose for there team photo as they crowned the 2012 Section X Class D Champions. The Chateaugay Bulldogs and the Edwards-Knox Cougars would meet for the Section X Class D Championship at SUNY Canton. The Bulldogs would get the straight-set victories over the Cougars by scores of 25-9, 25-11, and 25-12. The Bulldogs would get great team play from everyone in the victory. With the win, the Bulldogs move onto the New York State Regionals where they will play Section 2 representative Hartford at SUNY Canton on November 10. The Bulldogs would also continue the undefeated season at 18-0. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs celebrate as they get the game-winner in overtime to advance to the sectional semi-finals. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Edwards-Knox Cougars in the quarterfinals on the section x boys soccer tournament. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Colton-Pierpont Colts in the quarterfinals of the section x tournament. The game would remain scoreless until the 39th minute when Courtney Boyea would get the goal on the assist from Alexis Beach. The Bulldogs and Courtney Boyea would strike again in the 53rd minute to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. The Bulldogs would end the scoring on the Hayle Tower goal in the 74th minute. The Bulldogs would get the 3-0 win over the Colts to advance to the Section X Semi-Finals. In the win Makayla Fleury would stop four shots for the shutout.
