Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets October 15 2012

Chateaugay's Owen Henderson (9) with the header in the defensive end that he takes off the face. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in east division action. Before the game Bulldogs would honor there ten seniors as this would be the last regular-season home game. The game would be physical between a couple of bitter rivals. The game would be scoreless through regulation. Then in overtime in the third minute, the Bulldogs would get the lone goal of the game from Cody Smith. With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 7-3-3 on the season as they draw closer to the playoffs. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 7 Saranac Chiefs Vs #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm October 13 2012

Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) takes it through the whole and cuts to the outside and goes for the 30-yard touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The Red Storm would use the offense to get out to the quick 23-0 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Red Storm would take a 36-0 lead into the break. They would get one more score in the third to get 42-0 lead. In the fourth quarter the Chiefs would score a couple times first on Michael Bernardi with the 30-yard touchdown run and then as time expired the Chiefs would get a 30-yard field goal from Tony Bushey. The Red Storm would get the 42-11 victory and finish the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs fall to 2-5. Next week the Red Storm will host the Ausable Valley Patriots in section 7 class C title game while the Chiefs travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in the Section 7 Class B Semi-Finals. Empire Football League Semi-Finals #1 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs #4 Watertown Red & Black October 13 2012

Plattsburgh's Jamil McCray (24) with the fingertip catch across the middle for the first down. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red & Black in the semi-finals of the Empire Football League playoffs. The Plattsburgh North Stars would take the 7-0 lead after the first quarter thanks to the legs on Harry Rascoe. In the second the Red & Black would find the endzone but fail on the extra point and the North Stars would lead 7-6 at the intermission. In the third quarter the Red and Black would strike quick to make it 13-7. Then late in the quarter the North Stars would tie the game up on Andrew Prices catch in the corner of the endzone. Then midway through the fourth quarter, the North Stars would score on Andrew Price's second touchdown of the night on a curl route just over the line. The Plattsburgh North Stars will host the Monroe County Stings next week for the Empire Football League championship. Gallery

Chateaugay's (6) slides over for the bump on the ball to set up the spike. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks is modified volleyball action. The Bulldogs would get the easy 3-0 victory by scores of 25-4, 25-7, and 25-16. Leading the way would be an impressive serving performance by Grace Harrigan. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated on the season at 10-0. Gallery

The Bulldogs would make easy work of the Lumberjacks by scores of 25-4, 25-8, and 25-11. Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be the Stumpf twins. Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer #7 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Norwood-Norfolk Flyers October 10 201

Chateaugay's Morgan Legacy (3) and the Norwood-Norfolk's player both raise up for the ball on the header to gain control. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would hos the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in east division action. The Bulldogs would get two quicks in the first four minutes of the game from Courtney Boyea to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 28th minute Alexis Beach would score to make it 3-0. That is where the score would remain until the 73rd minute when Emily Lavoie would score to make it 3-1. The Bulldogs would win by that 3-1 score to keep there undefeated season intact. In the winning effoert the Bulldog goalies would combine to have three saves. Gallery

Chateaugay's Greg Holmes (20) with the header at midfield to keep the ball in the Bulldog action zone. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in east division action. The Bulldogs would get on the board in the 6th minute on the Chad Slater goal for the 1-0 lead. They would increase the lead to 2-0 on Chad Slater's second goal in the 10th minute. Then in the 14th minute, the Bulldogs would make it 3-0 Seth Young goal. That is where the game would remain until the 70th minute when the Flyers would get on the board on the Brandon Short goal. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would combine to stop two shots. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 5-3-3 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Brushton-Moira Panthers October 8 2013

Chateaugay's Chad Stalter (10) battles at midfield for the ball with the Brushton-Moira defender for the ball off the punt. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moira Panthers in Section X East Division. The two rivals would play a very spirited game throughout and be very competitive. The Bulldogs would get the opening goal in the 11th minute on the Cody Smith goal to make it 1-0 Bulldogs. That is where the game would remain until the 63rd minute when the Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 on Wayne Cowan's rebound goal. That would be enough for the Bulldogs as they would hold on for the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would just need to make one save for the shutout victory. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 8-2-1 on the season. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 6 Saranac Chiefs Vs Ticonderoga Sentinels October 6 2012

Saranac's Lance Hackett (8) with the diving catch in the end zone for the touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in Champlain Valley football. Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. With the lose the Chiefs falls to 2-4 on the season as they head into the regular-season finale against the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Gallery
