The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Cortland State Red Dragons in the 2019 N.E.W.H.L. Championship. The Cardinals would take the early 1-0 lead four minutes into the first period from Erin McArdle. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 in the last few seconds of the first period on the Hanna Rose goal.
