Plattsburgh State's Leah Warren (11) and R.I.T.'s Neena Damodaran (20) battle for the ball in the defensive battle that the game turned into. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host their second straight Liberty League foe at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse Complex. It would be a very evenly played game with both teams having their scoring chance. In the end, though there would only be one game scored on the afternoon tilt as R.I.T.'s Elena Onodera would get the lone goal of the game and fourth of the early season in the 50th minute of the game. In the winning effort for the Tigers their pair of goalies would have the clean sheet. As for the Cardinal's netminder, she would make 8 saves on the day and do her best to keep their team in the game. The Cardinals will be back in action Wednesday, September 18th as they will have their third straight Liberty League foe in the Clarkson Golden Knights. Gallery
