Lisbon's Andrew Donaldson (3) with the lay in that he puts off the window for the score as part of a eight point night. It would be the opening round of the New York State Public High School Athletic Assocation Class C Boy's Basketball Tournament and it would feature the #25 Lisbon Golden Knights and the Northern Adirondack Bobcats from the Florrence Gym at Clinton Community College with the winner getting Section II. It would be tight game through the first quarter as the teams would feel each other out the Bobcats would have the slight 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the Bobcats would find there shot and they would start to pull away with a 19-9 quarter and take the 30-18 lead at the intermission. When the teams would return for the third quarter the Bobcats would still have there hot hand as they would have a 21-6 and take the 51-24 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter with the game pretty much all determined the Golden Knights would have a 18-13 but the Northern Adirondack Bobcats would get the 64-42 victory. In the winning effort the Bobcats Luke Moore would lead the way with 19 points as they go to 16-8 on the season and advance to the quarterfinals. In the losing effort for the Golden Knights Ian Quinlan leads the way with 15 points as they finish there season at 14-7. Gallery

The Bolton Eagles are crowned the 2026 Section Champions Challenge winner with a 59-55 victory over. It would be the boys' edition of the 2026 Section VII Champions Challenge, and it would start with the Small Schools championship between the #2 Bolton Eagles and the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The upset-minded Bobcats would come out charging with a 15-8 quarter to jump out on the Eagles. In the second quarter,, the Eagles would taketheir run-and-gunn offense and have a 17-14 quarte,r, but the Bobcats would still have the 29-25 lead at the intermission When the teams return for the third quarter, the Eagles would still be out running the Bobcats with a 17-12 quarter as the Eagles take the 37-34 lead. In the 4th quarter, both teams ran up and down the court, with the Bobcats leading 9-17, but the Eagles won 9-55. In the winning effort for the Bolton Eagles, Sam Foy would have 22 points as they stay undefeated at 22-0. The Northern Adirondack Bobcats are crowned the 2026 Section VII Class C Champions for the first time since 2015 with the 60-41 victory. It would be the second game of championship weekend at the Clinton Community College Florence Gym, as the #1 Moriah Vikings would be going for their seventh straight championship against the Northern Adirondack Bobcats, who were going for their first title since 2015. It would be a defensive battle to start the game, as the Bobcats would have a low-scoring lead at 6-4 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, both teams' offenses came alive, with Moriah winning the quarter 16-14 and the game tied at 20. When the teams returned for the second haf,th e Bobcats would com e out running, scoring 22-8 in the quarter and taking a 42-28 lead into the fourth quarter In the fourth quarter, the Vikings would do their best to get back in the game, but the deficit would be too much as it would be a 14-13 Bobcats quarter as they secure the 60-41 victory In the winning effort, the Bobcats' Emmett Leclair would lead the way with 32 points as they advance to the New York State Class C Tournamen As for the Viking, theire titlereignn comes toa d at 6 years in a row as Joey Kazio would have 12 points. Northern Adirondack's Izek Guay (8) shields the Seton Catholic (9) as he turns and burns heads down the pitch on the attack. It would be the Seton Catholic Knights' last home game and senior night as they would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in Section VII Boy's Soccer action. The Bobcats would waste little time and get the game's opening goal in the third minute from Kaleb Guay to give them the early 1-0 lead. Then, in the 22nd minute of the game, the Bobcats would stay on the gas and add another one, this time from Calvin Magoon, to make it 2-0 Bobcats, and that's how the first half would end for scoring. When the teams return for the second half, the Bobcats stay on the attack and add another goal in the 62nd minute as they extend their lead to 3-0 on the goal from Donovan Turner. Then, in the 72nd minute, the Bobcats would end the scoring on the Shane Gilmore goal as they would secure their 4-0 win. In the winning effort, the Northern Adirondack Bobcats would go to 8-4-1 as they will finish their regular season tomorrow at Beekmantown. As for the Seton Catholic Knights, they would fall to 3-9 on the season as they head into the Section VII Class D playoffs. Gallery

It would be Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Volleyball action from Plattsburgh High School as the Hornets would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in a late-season tilt. The Plattsburg Hornets would leave little to the contest as they would take the straight-set victory by the score of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-14 for the victory. With the victory, the Hornets would stay perfect on the season as they go to 12-0 and head into their next match next week at Beekmantown for a matchup between the top 2 teams in the league. The game would stay there till the 29-minute mark when the Bobcats would expand their lead to 2-0 on the Mandy McKinney goal and that's where they would end the first half of play. When the teams returned for the second half the Bobcat would stay hot and get three goals in the first ten minutes of the half from Ava Moore and Rielyn Nutt as they would take a commanding 5-0 lead. That is where the game would stay till the Knights would break the shutout bid in the last minute of the game on the Julia Padd goal to make it a 5-1 final and win for the Bobcats as they go to 5-2-1 on the season and the Knights fall to 0-7, Gallery
