Adirondack Winter Invitational Championship: Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks Vs Clarkson Golden Knights November 29th 2025

Clarkson's Shane Soderwall (30) with the chest save on Alaska's William Lawson-Body (10) shot on net to keep his team in the game early. It would be the 4th and final game of the 2025 Adirondack Winter Invitational, and a title would be on the line as the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the Clarkson Golden Knights would battle at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 1,600 fans. The Nanooks would strike fast, taking a 1-0 lead just 2:11 into the game on Michael Citara's goal. The lead would be short-lived, as the Golden Knights answered back in the 6th minute with a Matthew Mayich goal, tying the game at 1. Then, with just 90 seconds left in the period, the Golden Knights would take a 2-1 lead on Jace Letourneau's goal. The Nanooks would keep fighting, and they would get the equalizer at the 8:48 mark of the second period on Michael CCitara'ssecond goal of the contest The game would stay there till the 17:28 mark of the third period, when Rylen Roersma would give the Nanooks the 3-2 lead and eventual game winner, as the Golden Knights wouldn'tt have an answer in the closing minute,s as the Nanooks wouldget the w In thewinningg effort for the Nanook,s Lassi Lehti would make 21 saves as they are crowned the 3rd annual Adirondack WinterInvitationall champions. As for the Golden Knight, they would come up short once again, as Shane Soderwall made 18 saves on the evening, and they fell to 5-11-1 on the season. Gallery

Adirondack Winter Invitational Day 1: Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks Vs St. Lawrence Saints November 28th 2025

Alaska's Peyton Platter (24) knocks down St. Lawrence's Sam Frandina (16) as they go after the faceoff win the Alaska zone. It would be the opening game of the third edition of the Adirondack Winter Invitional from the Herb Brooks Arena and it would feature the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the St. Lawrence Saints in front off nearly 1100 fans. It would take till the 1:25 of the mark of the second period for the opening goal of the game as William Fleet would score for the Nanooks to get them 1-0 lead at the first period would be very defensive. The game would would not stay there long as the Nanooks would make it a 2-0 game at the 6:40 mark of the period when Michael Citara would score. The game would stay there throughout as the Nanooks wuld get the 2-0 victory and play for the crown in the Adirondack Winter Invitional tomorrow. In the winning effort for the Nanooks Lassi Lethi would make 19 saves for the shutout win as they go to 3-8-1 on the season. As for the Saints they would fall to 2-12-1 as Colin Winn would make 23 saves. The Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks will have the late game tomorrow against the Clarkson Golden Knights as the St. Lawrence Saints will have the early game against the Massuschusetts Lowell Riverhawks. Princeton Tigers @ #7 Clarkson Golden Knights - ECAC Men's Hockey - January 10th 2020

Clarkson's Anthony Romano (29) comes charging in with the defender on his hip and flips the backhander on net. The #7 Clarkson Golden Knights would host the Princeton Tigers at the Cheel Arena in ECAC Hockey in front of just over 2100 fans in a rematch of the 2018 ECAC Championship. The home Golden Knights would get the opening goal of the game on the powerplay from Haralds Egle at the 9:39 mark of the first period. The game would stay right there till inside the final three minutes of the second period when the Tigers would tie the game at 1 on a goal by Liam Grande. The Golden Knights would keep fighting and take the lead back at the nine minute mark of the third period on the Adam Tisdale goal to make it 2-1. From there the Golden Knights defense would step up and they would hold on for the 2-1 victory. In the winning effort Frank Marotte would make 23 saves as they go to 14-4-2 and will look to finish off the weekend sleep against the Quinnipac Bobcats. Gallery

RPI Engineers @ #4 Clarkson Golden Knights - ECAC Men's Hockey - January 3rd 2020

Engineers at the Cheel Arena for there first game of 2020 and since December 14th and come right back into conference play. The Engineers would jump out to a quick 1-0 lead as Simon Kjellberg would score 1:23 into the game and make it 1-0. The game would stay there all the way to the third period when the Engineers would double up there lead on the Ture Linden goal to make it 2-0 Engineers. The Golden Knights would get on the board with just over five minutes left in the game with a Mathieu Gosselin goal to make it 2-1. Although they would not be able to get the equalizer and the Engineers would get an empty-net goal in the final minute from Will Reilly to secure the 3-1 win for the Engineers. In the losing effort, Frank Marotte would make 23 saves as the Golden Knights fall to 13-4-2. The Saints would get the first goal of the game on the power-play from Jeremy Wick at 6:30 of the first. The Golden Knights would answer and tie the game up at 9:28 of the first on a TJ Moor power-play goal. The Golden Knights would take the lead at 2-1 on Simon Bessette's goal at 14:25 of the first. Then in the last minute of the first Jeremy Wick would get his second power-play goal of the night to tie the game at 2. That is where the game would stay till the last minute of the second period when the Saints would take the 3-2 lead on Matt Carey's goal. Then at 6:09 of the third period Clarkson's Jarrett Burton would tie the game at three. Then on the power-play Jeff DiNallo would give the Golden Knights the 4-3 lead at 10:57. Then just over 30 seconds later the Golden Knights would extend there lead to 5-3 on Troy Joseph's goal. The Saints wouldn't go quite though as Matt Carey would get his second of the night to make it 5-4 with two minutes left in the game. The Golden Knights would hold on from there for the 5-4 win. In the winning effort Greg Lewis would make 17 saves as the Golden Knights go to 11-3-1 on the season. Gallery
