Firecracker 44 @ Devils Bowl Speedway June 28th 2025

Joey Scarbrough (11vt) and Kevin Chaffee (8) battle for position in the Firecracker 44 that would see Scarbrough get the victory. It would be the sixth race of the 2025 season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, marking the annual Firecracker 44. The six weekly divisions were in action, along with the Enduro. The main event of the evening would be the Sunoco Sportsman Modified Firecracker 44, where Josh LeClaire would take the lead from the start. Still, he would soon face a challenger in Derrick McGrew Jr., and they would battle for a while. Then, Joey Scarbrough would make his way up from 16th, fight for the lead, and eventually win the Firecracker 44. Then it would be time for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. Bobbi Hults would take the lead at the start of the race, but she would eventually be challenged by Kamden Duffy, who would get to the line first for his second win of the season. Then we would have the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified for their 20-lap event, and Winston Forbes would get the lead off the start. Still, there would be a challenge coming from the middle of the pack in the likes of Raelin Dunham, from her tenth-place start, to claim the win and get in the fight for the points title. Then it would see the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints thei20-lapaptheir 20-lap event, andzewski would gethe lead ageththe e staatStill, the man that had been the class of the field so far this season, Gage Provenche,r would come up from the 8th place starting spot and get another win on the seaso Then there would be split features for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks would see Jeremy Brownell Jr. weave his way through the traffic from his 12th place start to win the first feature. Then, in the second feature for the Mini Stocks, we saw Tyler Bell go wire to wire for the win. Then we would have the 9th State CCannabisCrown Vics, take the track for their main event, whereEric Friend would come from the back of the pack again to win over Elisabeth Dupont. The night, to finish off the night, the 50-lap Enduro would see Tim LaDuc come from the back of the pack to win over Dan Desforges and Jason Porter. The Devil's Bowl Speedway will be back in action next weekend, July 5th, for the mid-season championship double features. Gallery
