The Mustangs would be up to the fight in the second quarter as they would clamp down, have an 18-8 quarter, and take the 31-25 lead into the break. When the teams would return for the second half, the Cardinals would find their offense and put up a 20 on the Mustangs while giving up 15 and trail 46-45 as they head into the 4th quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would keep their offense on fire as they put up another 20 points, and their defense would only give up seven as they would get the 65-53 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals' Julia Greek would drop 18 points as they go to 11-8 on the season and head to the road next weekend.
