It would be a battle inside the top of the SUNYAC Men's Basketball as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the SUNYAC Conference, the New Paltz Hawks, from Memorial Hall in front of 325 fans. The game would be tight through the first half, but the Cardinals would have a slim 36-33 lead as they went back and forth through the first half. In the second half, the game would stay tight as both teams would trade the lead back and forth a few times, but the Cardinals would have the 47-45 half as they secured the 83-78 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals would go to 9-7 on the season as Kareem Welch would lead the way with 19 points. As for the New Paltz Hawks, they would fall to 11-6 in the season, and AJ Knight and Dakoda Smith would combine for 17 points each night. Gallery
