It would be the third week of racing from the Airborne Park Speedway and it would be Hometown Heroes Night as any first responder or law enforcement personnel would get in free for the night to watch all four of the weekly divisions with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modified, Renegades and the Mini Stocks in action with 100 cars in pits. After all the qualifying races were done first up would be the Be Cool Heating and Air Condition 358 Modified. It would start with Tanner Siemons getting the lead at the start of the race and riding the top. Still, Felix Roy would keep digging on the bottom and take the lead around lap ten, and from there he would just keep pulling away for the win rounding out the top three would be Tim Fuller and George Foley as for the hard charger that would go to Jeremy Roy as he would come up ten spots to seventh on the night. The next up would be J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event and it would see Craig Wholey take the lead at the start of the race. Still, there would be a fire brewing behind him as Fire Swamp would come up from his 9th-place starting position to take the lead in closing laps to get his first win of the season at the Big A, and Wholey and Branham would round out the top three. Joey Scarbrough would be the hard charger on the night as he would come up from his 20th starting spot to get a top five on the night. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabis Renegades for their 20-lap event and it would see Josh Terry get the wire to wire victory. Still, it would be not without competition as his brother Tylor Terry would be on his bumper for most of the evening and would complete a Terry Brothers 1-2, and last week's winner Nathaniel Guay would round out the top three. There would be a four-way tie for the hard charger on the night as Tylor Terry, Nathaniel Guay, Shawn Duquette, and Bill Thwaites would all move up five spots on the day. Then it would be onto the Moore Recycling Mini Stocks for their split mains and the A main would start with a bang as on lap two there would be a multi-car pile up on the front stretch with cars withstanding heavy damage as for the racing Bill Doner would have the early lead on the night but there would be a hard-charging 94 of Ryan Senecal that would come up from his 12th place starting position to take the lead in the closing laps of the race for the win and rounding out the top three would be Greg Zindler and Kenny Tourville and Senecal would also be your hard charger. As for the B Main, it would be a wire to wire victory for Jason Bradley in the 6-lap dash race. Next week the Airborne Park Speedway will be alive with its biggest show of the year on May 30th with the first-ever appearance of the Short Track Super Series and the Airborne Invasion 70 which will bring the biggest big block Modifieds in the northeast to the Airborne half mile along with the Sportsman Modifieds, Renegades and Mini Stocks.
