The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be back in action tonight against north country foe the St. Lawrence Saints in non-conference action at Memorial Hall on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus. The game would start well for the home Cardinals, who doubled up the Saints at the end of the first quarter with a 16-8 lead. Then, in the second quarter, the Saints would come charging back with a 19-10 quarter and had a slim 27-26 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter, the Cardinals found their shot again, outscoring the Cardinals 16-12 and taking a 42-39 lead into the final quarter. In the final quarter, the Saints would find their shot and have a slightly better quarter, 21-16, which would give the Saints the 60-58 win. In the losing effort, a pair of Cardinals led all scorers with 14 points, as Mya Smith and Hannah Ruberto went to 2-2 on the season. Gallery
