Franklin County Fair Night #2 - August 10th 2019

Nick Harden (125) with the hard shot to the side of Jerry O'Connor that rocks it on it side but stays on its wheel. It would be the second night of demolition derby action at the Franklin County Fair there would be around 120 cars in the pits from compact, 8 cylinder and truck and vans. Before the night would start though we would go back and honor the past with the first demolition derby hall of fame and there would be 13 members in the class. Once the derby got underway the smashing would be fierce from start to finish with a couple rollovers and few fires throughout the night. When the smashing would end on the night there would be three winners on the night Randy Martin in the 4 cylinder class, Jerry O'Connor in the truck class, and Chris Mossow in the 8 cylinder class.Gallery

Franklin County Fair - August 8th 2019

Joey Chindano and Flame Calibur battles with Larry Lapage and Chuckling Chucky battle for second during the 6th race of day. It would be the annual harness racing day at the Franklin County Fair there would be 12 races on day totaling just over 35 thousand dollars in prize money. With all the racing on day there would be multiple drivers with multiple wins but the champion of the day would be Kelly Barcomb.Gallery

Franklin County Fair KSR Night of Fire and Destruction - August 6th 2019

Crash Monreau and Jason Barney take there junk cars through the wall of steel causing complete destruction. It would be the KSR Night of Fire and Destruction at the Franklin County Fair as the thrill show made there return to the fair. It would start with some percesion driving skills and then we would move into Doug Danger tricks with the motorcycle and he would end his protion taking his motorcycle through the wall of fire. Then you would have crash Monreau doing his crazy stunts with the wall of steel and then the human explosion where he set himself on fire. The night would end with a special treat as they would have Eddie Como and his Anger Management monster truck do a freestyle run to end the night.Gallery

Franklin County Fair Truck Pull - August 4th 2019

Terry Collins and his 1978 Ford F-100 takes a second in the enhanced gas class. It would be the annual truck pull at the Franklin County Fair put on by the Adirondack Tractor Pullers there would be 14 classes with 65 hooks on the day. The classes would range from the stock truck all the way up to the Pro Stock 4x4 trucks. The pullers would come all the way from New York, Vermont, and Ontario. We would like to congratulate all the winners on the day. Next up for the Adirondack Tractor Pullers will be August 11th with the tractor pull at the Franklin County Fair. Gallery

Laware Construction Night - Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway - August 3rd 2019

Mike Mahanney (35) sends it into the turn a power slides it around the cotner in the main event. It would be Laware Construction Night at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and week 14 of the season. With this week we would have all six divisions in action with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, Pro Stock, Super Stock and Strictly Stock, It would be a great night of racing before the rain came and would halt the night short without the Super Stock and Strictly Stock getting there events in. As for the one that go the racing in it would Lance Willix winning the Egglefield Ford 358 Modifieds, Jamy Begor in the Porier's True Value Sportsman Modified, CD Beauchamp in the Hartson Total Opening Pro Stock for the first repeat winner of the season, and it would be Cody Meyers winning the Novice Sportsman Modified. They will be back racing this coming weekend as it will be Military Appreciation night at the track presented by Huntley Trucking with double features for the Super Stock and Strictly Stock. Snap on Night - Mohawk International Raceway - August 2nd 2019

Derric Ellisworth (48) goes bumper to bumper with Jonathan Rush (6j) Ellisworth would get his first win in the Novice Sportsman Modified division. It would be Snap On Tool night at Mohawk International Raceway and all 5 divisions would be in action. The winners on the night would be Tim Fuller in the Frenchies Chevy 358 Modified after a good battle with Chris Raabe that would see them swap the lead a couple times. Then in the Crossroad Tabaco Sportsman Modified and the winner would be Robert Delormier after a battle with Brianna Ladoucier. Then would have a Mod Lites and the cream would rise to the top as Robert Foster would win again. In the Novice Sportsman Modified Deric Ellisworth would get his first career win after leading wire to wire. Then to finish out the night Frank White would win the Bandits race after a battle with Matt Zirra and ending his win streak in the division. They will be back in action next weekend at Mohawk International Raceway on August 9th. Gallery

It would be the classic battle at Mohawk with Tim Fuller (19) and Chris Raabe (01) on the top battling for the win in the 358 Modified with Fuller getting the upper hand this time. Gallery

Hall of Fame Night Presented by Cumberland 12 Cinemas - Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway - July 27th 2019

Pascal Payour (338) gets completely sideways in turn one off the start of the race but he would straighten it up and take it to the front for the win. It would be another week at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and it would be Hall of Fame night presented by Cumberland 12 Cinemas. Before the racing got started we would take time to induce the second class into the hall of fame with it being Bob Mackey, Harold Orsmby, Jean Pual Cabana and Bob Burnell. As for the racing on track it would be another great night of short track racing. The first main out of the box would be the Novice Sportsman Modified and the 20 lapper would go caution free and Dale Gonyo Jr. would get the win. The next would be the return of the Hartson Total Opening Pro Stock after a two month break and the win would go to Pascal Payour but not without challenge from Pual Cyr and CD Beauchamp. Then would have the Porier's True Value Sportsman Modified and the win would go to Jason McCaltchie after he would battle up front with Chris Reeves he would get under him for the winning pass with 2 laps to go. Then next we would have the Egglefield 358 Modified main and it would be a battle of endurance as they would start with 11 and finish with 6 cars and the win would go to Chris Raabe after Jessey Mueller would have a flat with 5 to go and Raabe inherited the lead. Then we would have the Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stocks and the cream would race to the top but not without battle as Nathan Smart gets the win. Then it would be the last race of the night the Ernie's Discount Tools Super Stock and it would be a dogfight up front all race along with Jim McKerrian and Michael Wright tight racing along. As they would come across the finish line for the checkered flag Michael Wright would get it by a nose to secure win 2 of the season. They will be back in action at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway next weekend with the Laware Construction Spectator races. Gallery Video DVD

Clinton County Fair - July 21st 2019

Alex Martin (77jr) and Randy Martin (77a) would go back to back as they battle not just for the overall with but for who is better in the house with Alex getting this round. It would be the return of the annual demolition derby at the Clinton County Fair with around 150 cars in attendance. The cars would range from stock 4, 6, and 8, cylinders and then you would have the modified 8 cylinders and ectreme truck division. There would be hard hitting throughout the night and the barriers would be up to the task and keep all cars in the track. When the smashing would stop you see some frimilar faces in the winner circle with Alex and Randy Martin taking 1 and 2 in the 6 cylinder division. As for the four cylinder division the win would go to Brandon Lamere and the Extreme trucks would see Brittany Woodside getting the victory. Gallery

Clinton County Fair Tractor Pull - July 20th 2019

Rene Bourdeau and the Diesel Disease flies it out the other end as the sunsets behind. It would be the return of the annual tractor pull at the Clinton County fair and there would be 20 classes on the day ranging from the stock tractor all the way to the super farm along with the semis. It would be a great show but on by all with only one accident on the day when Casey Decosse would be running his new Modified and the front end slammed down destroying the it and pouring alcohol all over the track. The Adirondack Tractor Pullers will be back in action in a couple weeks with there two day show at the Franklin County Fair on August 4th and 11th. Gallery

Clinton County Fair Truck Pull - July 19th 2019

Doug Rollo and his 1977 Ford takes third in the enhanced gas class with a pull of 290 feet. It would be the annual truck pull at the Clinton County Fair put on by the Adirondack Tractor Pullers Association. There would be 8 different divisions on the night starting with the stock trucks all the way up to the fully modified and the diesel classes would be in there as well as there would be 73 enteries for the 16 classes. Once the show got going the crowd would be entertained throughout the night with all the horsepower and action. We would like to congratulate all the winners on the night. The Adirondack Tractor Pullers will be back in action Saturday with all there tractor classes at the Clinton County Fair. Gallery
