The Moriah Vikings pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2019 New York State Section VII Class D champions. It would be the annual match up in the Section VII Class D championship. As the #1 Moriah Vikings would play the #2 Ticonderoga Sentinels. The Vikings would take the 8-0 lead at the 3:28 mark of the first quarter with a Maddox Blaise 2 yard run. The game would stay there the first play of the second quarter when Maddox Blaise gets a 3 yard run to make it 14-0 viings. Then on the next drive the Vikings would score his first of the night on a 13 yard run at 3:41 of the second quarter and take the 22-0 lead into the half. When the teams came out for the second half it would be more of the same as the Vikings would get two more touchdowns coming from Braden Swan and Todd Malbon for the 34-0 victory. In the winning effort the Moriah Vikings go to 6-3 and to the New York State Class D Playoffs as the Ticonderoga Sentinels season comes to end at 1-8. Gallery.

It would be week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and would feature the Moriah Vikings traveling up to the the Au Sable Patriots. The game would start of good for the Patriots as they would hit Luis Perez with a 65 yard pass on the first play of the game for a quick 8-0 lead. Although the Vikings would strike right back two plays later with a Maddox Blaise 63 yard run to tie the game at 8. Then the Vikings would strike again at 4:17 mark of the first quarter on a 3 yard run and take a 16-8. The Vikings would strike one more time in the first quarter with 4 minutes left on Mason Spring sneak to take a 24-8 lead. As time would expire in the first quarter the Patriots would cut the lead in half at 24-15 on the Evan Snow QB sneak. The scoring would slow down from there as the Vikings would score 3 minutes into the quarter on the Luke Spring 15 yard pass to make it 30-15. The Vikings would score as time would expire in the half on a very controversial touchdown Braden Swan to make it 38-15 at the half. When the teams came back the second half the scoring would slow down. As the Vikings would get the only score of the half at 3:24 of the third quarter on the Maddox Blaise run and secure the 44-15 win. In the winning effort the Moriah Vikings go to 4-2 while the Ausable Valley Patriots fall to 3-3 season as the teams go into the last week of the season. Gallery.

The Saranac Chiefs would host the Moriah Vikings in the opening saturday of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Vioings would get 6-0 lead on Maddox Blaise 3 yard run in the first quarter. Although the Chiefs would answer right back with a 34 yard touchsown pass to Bryce Snith. The Vikings would regain the lead on the Deihl touchdown pass at 12-6 and take lead into the half. In the second half the rain would be coming doing at a good clup making it diffcult for both teams. The Chiefs would tie the game up midway through the third quarter with a pass to Connor Recore. In the fourth quarter Bryce Smith would get an interception and return it for a touchdown for the 20-12 lead and win. In the winning effort the Saranac Chiefs start the season at 1-0 while Moriah Vikings start at 0-1. Next week it will be the battle Saranac's with the Chiefs and Red Storm while Vikings get the Indians. Gallery.

It would be the traditional Class D Championship for Section VII as the #1 Moriah Vikings would meet up with the #2 Ticonderoga Sentinels for the championship. The game would start off very defensive as the first score would come at 3:41 and Moriah would take the 8-0 lead on Jarin Sargents 22 yard reception. Although the Sentinels would march right down the field and score just over a minute later and make it 8-6 on the Dillon Schlogl score. Moriah would extend there lead 90 seconds later on a 76-yard catch and run by Jarin Sargent for his second score of the game and a 16-6 lead. Then with just under two minutes left in the half, the Vikings would score again on Jarin Sargent's third touchdown of the quarter this time for 39 yards to make it 24-6. In the second half, the Sentinels would try and get back in the game with a score to make it 24-14. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Vikings would get two more scores for the 36-14 victory. With the win, the Moriah Vikings go to 7-2 and wait for the section II team in the state playoffs while the Ticonderoga Sentinels season comes to an end at 2-7. Gallery.

The Moriah Vikings celebrate as they are heading back to the state final four to defend their state title. The #1 Moriah Vikings would square off with the #10 Whitehall Railroaders in the New York State Class D Quarterfinals. The game would be close to starting out as the Moriah Vikings would have the slim 16-13 lead over the Railroaders after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the game would still be tight although the Vikings would extend there lead with a 14-12 quarter and take a 30-25 lead at intermission. When the teams came back from the break they would be even through the third quarter at 18 and the Vikings would take the 48-43 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter is when the Vikings would pull away and put the game out of reach would a 26-18 quarter and secure the 74-61 victory. In the winning effort, Dylan Trombley would lead the way with 32 points as the Vikings head back to the state final four. Gallery.

In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as they win the quarter 18-17 to have a 36-26 lead at intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter 19-18 to have the 57-44 lead headed to the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Vikings would pull away and get the easy win with a 23-10 quarter and secure the 80-54 victory.
