Dirtcar Racing: Night of Destruction @ Devils Bowl Speedway June 8th 2025

Adam Piper (66) and Brian Whittemore (36) battling for the win in the Sunoco Sportsman Modified that would see Adam Piper get the win on the night. It would be the third night of racing from Devils Bowl Speedway on the 2025 season, and it would be the annual night of destruction event with the 50-lap enduro added to the card, as there would be over 120 cars in the pits, plus the enduro cars. After all the heat racing, it would be on to the features. We would have the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap event starting on the 31st. We would have Brian Whittemore and Adam Piper on the front row, and Piper would get the lead of the start with a challenge from Whittemore for the first couple. Then he would start to pull away, but then there would be a challenge from James Hanson for the next couple. After that, Piper would check out on the field and cruise to his first win of the season. Then we would have the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Spoersman Modified for their 25-lap event, and 23 would take the green, and the battle would be up front between Ed Bell and Marty Hutchins for the win. Ed Bell would get the checkered first. Still, the scale would get him as he was 12 lbs light on the scale, handing the win to Marty Hutchins. Then it would be onto the Hoosier Novice Sportsman for their 20-lap event, and that would see Aiden Benoure start from the pole and go green to checkered for the win and his first of the season. Then in the Friend Construction Mini Sprints, there would be a pair of features, and both of them would see a battle up front between the same two racers, Raymond Hanson and Quinn Quenneville, as they would go back and forth throughout the races, but Raymond Hanson would get the sweep on the evening. Then, to finish off the main night of racing, it would be the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, and it would see a great battle up front between Tyler Bell and Chris Charboneau, with Charboneau edging out Bell for the win. Then to finish off the night of racing it would be the 50 lap enduro and it would see Brent Wilbur get the lead of the start of the race bt there would be a hard charger coming as Dan Desfrges would charge his way to the lead and from there check out on the field and claim his $500 first place check. Dirtcar Racing: Northeast Crate Nationals @ Devils Bowl Speedway May 26th 2025

Gary English (53) and Kamden Duffy (42) battle for the lead and the win during the Limited Sportsman Modified feature that would see Gary English come across the line first. It would be the fifth edition of the Northeast Crate Nationals from the Devils Bowl Speedway with 100 laps and 5,000 on the line for the Sportsman Modified after two straight days of rain pushed the show to Memorial Day Monday. The other divisions that would be in action that evening would be the 9th State Cannabias Renegades, O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades, Friends Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, and the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified. After all the qualifying was done the first feature out of the box would be the Crown Vics and Bradford Cram would get the lead off the start of the race but there would be a hard charger coming from the back and would see Eric Friend come and take the lead and get his second straight feature win. Then we would have the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap feature, and it would see Kamden Duffy get the lead off the start of the race. He would hold it for most of the event until there was a late race restart, and it would see a duel between him and Gary English that would see Gary English cross the line first for the win. Then next up would be the Renegades for their 20-lap feature, where they would see Tyler Irwin get the lead off the start, but Josh Bussino would keep fighting and get around Irwin for the win and the $500 first-place check. Then we would have the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints for their 15-lap race, and there would be a battle up front for most of the race between Gage Provencher and Quinn Quenneville, until the closing laps when they would touch wheels in turn four, sending Quenneville flipping into the catchfence, ruining his night. Then there would be a two-lap shootout to finish the race to see Jenna Zak get around a wounded Gage Provencher for the win. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening, the 100 Sportsman Modified Northeast Nationals. It would see an early battle for the lead between Brent Warren and Chad Edwards that would go to Edwards. Still, the real battle would be the one between Edwards and Lussier that would see them trade the lead back and forth as they would duel for that first-place check, and in the end, the check would go back North of the Border as Donovan Lussier would get to the checkered flag first and capture the win. Then there would be a pair of Mini Stock features. The first one would see Ron Alger get the early lead, but the Airborne Speedway invader, Jake Fountain, would come from an 8th-place start to go after the lead and win on the night. The feature would be a race marred in cautions and wrecks that would end two laps short of its scheduled distance and see Jeremy Brownell get his first win of the season. Then, to finish the night, it would be the Novice Sportsman Modified for their 20-lap event. It would see Raelin Dunham get the lead off the start of the race and hold it for a while, but Rob Steves would keep coming and get around her for the lead and get his first career Novice Sportsman Modified win to conclude the day of racing. Dirtcar Racing: Thursday Night Thunder Hometown Heroes @ Airborne Park Speedway May 15th 2025

Jordan Fornwald (24 and Jeremy Roy (90jr) battled for the lead in the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, which would see Roy get around him for his first career win at the Airborne Park Speedway. After two weeks off due to Mother Nature the Airborne Park Speedway would come back to life wth all five weekly divisions back in action on Hometown Heros Night with the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, JS Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, Mini Stocks and the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modified as we would have 85 entries in the pits. After all the qualifying was done, the night's first feature would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds for their 30-lap affair, where Jordan Fornwalt would get the lead off the start of the race. Still, there would be a pair of chargers coming from the middle of the field, like Jeremy Roy and Mike Mahaney, and would see Jeremy Roy get around Fornwalt for the win and his first career at the Airborne Park Speedway. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Renegades for their 20-lap event, and Tyler Irwin would get the early lead. There would be an early battle between him and Nathaniel Guay for the lead, but the cream would rise to the top as Taylor Terry and Shawn Duquette would come and challenge for the lead, and Terry would get the lead late to get his third win of the season in just six races. Then it would be onto the JS Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap race. It would crowd favorite Jamy Begor start on the pole and take the lead and hold it throughout most of the night until a hard charging Nick Heywood would come up from his 14th starting spot and battle for the lead and get the lead without five laps to go to secure the win over Begor and Donovan Lussier would round out the top three. Then it would be time for the Mini Stiock 15 lap event to see five cautions in the first four laps of the race. Once the chaos got out of the way, they would do the last 11 laps caution-free, and Glenn Engstrom would take the lead. Still, Ryan Senecal would come charging from the 15th starting spot and win the game over Steven Bressette and Glenn Engstrom. Then to finish off the night, it would be the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modified for their 15-lap race, and it would see Raelin Dunham get the lead off the start. It would hold til inside the final five laps when she was battling with Kobe Hernandez for the race lead, and Hernandez would take the lead. Off the restart, it would see Hernandez and Parker Dermodey go after the lead as Hernandez would get his second win of the season. The Airborne Park Speedway will be back in action next Thursday, June 12th, when the Dirtcar 358 and Sportsman Series invade the speedway, and then two days later, the track will be back in action for Toppless Night for the Sportsman Modified. Speedy Bressette (95) dives under Josh Laporte Jr. (4) as he goes after the lead in the Mini Stock feature, and he would capture the checkered flag. It would be the 5th night of racing from the Airborne Park Speedway, powered by the New England Ford Dealers, and the main event of the evening would be the 30-lap 9th State Canabias Renegades $500 to win. To start the night off, it would be the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modifieds with their makeup feature from the rain-shortened event from a couple of weeks ago, and it would see Gary English go wire to wire for the win. Then it would be the heat races for this week's races, and when those were done, we would be onto the features for the May 15th event, and the first one up would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds. It would see Tanner Siemons get the lead at the start of the race and hold it for most of the race. Still, there would be challenges from Felix Roy, Justin Stone, and Favid Hebert, and on a late race restart, it would see Felix Roy get around Siemons for the win and take the points lead in the early stages of the season. Then we would have the main event of the evening with the 9th State Cannabias Renegades $500 to win, 30 30-lap event. It would see Josh Terry get the lead at the start of the race and have an early battle with Roland Guay, but he would fade away. Then Brad Bushey would be in the fight, but there would be a hard charger coming from the last row start, Shawn Fountain, and it would be a three-way battle down the stretch for the checkers and checkers, and with the pass on the highside, Brad Bushey would get his second win of the early season. Then we would have the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event. We would see the cagey veteran Bucko Branham start on the front row and get the lead off the start of the race. Still, he would have a challenge from Mike Phinney for most of the event. Still, a hard charger would come from deep in the field, like last year's points champion Donovan Lussier, who would come from 17th and get up to fourth before the checkered dropped. Bucko Branham would get his first win since the middle of the last season and move into 4th in the early-season points. Then we would have the Mini Stocks for their 15-lap event, and see Tyler Van Weort getting the lead at the start of the race. Still, he would have a challenge from Haiden Bourdeau in the early stages, and then we would see Steven Bressette and Lightning McQueen make their way to the front, and we would have a duel at the front between him and Ryan Senecal for the win that would see Bressette get the checkered flag. Then to finish off the night it would be Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified for there second feature on the night and t would see Parker Dermody get the lead off the start of the race and the battle would be between him and Gary English who would be going for the sweep on the night and when it was looking like Dermody would get that first win English would come around for the lead and get the win for the sweep on the night. It would be a battle between the 11's for the win in the 32-lap 3200 to win Matt Bilodeau Memorial Sportsman Modified that would see Joey Scarbrough in the 11VT get under Josh Sunn in the 11 for the win. After a rainout in opening week and the second week getting pushed back a day, it would be opening day at the Devils Bowl Speedway. The 59th season opener and the feature event would be the Matt Bilodeau Memorial 3200 to win for the Sportsman Modifieds, along with the Novice and Limited Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, and Crown Vics in action. Still, the lead would be short-lived as Scott Bachand would get around him for the lead, hold it till a late race incident, see Raymond Hanson get around him for the lead, and hold on for the win. Then next up would be the Hoosier Novice Sportsman for their 20-lap race, and would see 13 racers take the green. The race would see Matthew Cram get the lead at the start and not look back as he would win on opening day over Trevor Hurlburt. It would be the main event of the evening, with the 32-lap 3200 to win Matt Bilodeau Memorial Sunoco Sportsman Modified event. It would see Dave Camara get the lead off the start of the race and for most of the eent there would be a battle between him and Josh Sunn for the lead as they went back and forth but there a racer moving up and charging from the middle of the pack to challenge for the lead and that would be Joey Scarbrough. In the closing laps, he would find his way around Josh Sunn and Dave Camara to get the win and cash the check for 3200.

Then we would be onto the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks and see 29 cars take the green flag for their 15-lap event. Most of the race would be a battle up front between Tyler Bell and JP Corrow, and in the closing laps, Corrow would get the lead as Bell slipped up, and Corrow would continue his winning ways on the early part of the season. Then, to finish the night, the 9th State Canabias Crown Vics would see Eric Friend win the 20-lap event wire to finish the night of racing. JP Corrow (1) with the highside pass on Tyler Bell (8b) for the win in the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks for the opening night win. After a rainout in opening week and the second week getting pushed back a day, it would be opening day at the Devils Bowl Speedway. The 59th season opener and the feature event would be the Matt Bilodeau Memorial 3200 to win for the Sportsman Modifieds, along with the Novice and Limited Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, and Crown Vics in action. Then next up would be the Hoosier Novice Sportsman for their 20-lap race, and would see 13 racers take the green.
