The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams's goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The game would stay there till 8:17 of the second period when Connor Preston would score for the Blue Bombers and make it a 2-0 lead. The Eagles would get on the board at the 12:27 mark of the second on Nathan Foster's goal to cut the defect to 2-1. The game would stay there till the 2:51 mark of the third when Nathan Foster would have his second of the game to tie the game at 2. The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. Northeastern's Ryan Roberts (33) with the save as he lays out across the goal line as part of a 37 save night. It would be a late-season matchup between the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and Plattsburgh Hornets wanting home ice in the first round. The Hornets would get the first goal of the game at the 10:19 mark of the first period from Andrew Becherd to make it 1-0 Hornets. The game would stay there until the 10:52 mark of the second period when Andrew Becherd would get his second of the night. Then just 15 seconds later the Cougars would get on the board to make it 2-1 on the Dayton Roberts goal. The game would stay there till 9:14 of the third when Kurtis Olsen would make it 3-1 Hornets. Then at the 1435 mark, Andrew Becherd would finish off the hat trick and make it 4-1. In the losing effort, Ryan Roberts would make 37 saves as the Cougars fall to 5-10 on the season. Gallery

Northeastern Clinton Cougars Vs #10 Beekmantown Eagles February 3 2014
Beekmantown's Kyle Constantly (44) puts the puck in on the short side for one of his two goals on the night. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would match up with #10 Beekmantown Eagles in Section VII action at the Plattsburgh State Field House. The Cougars would show no fear as they would get the opening goal from Jordan Lemere at 2:58 of the first. The Eagles would come back and tie the game up at the 8:18 mark of the first on Kyle Constantly first of the night. Then with under two minutes left in the first Cougars, Dayton Roberts would give his team the 2-1 lead headed into intermission. The Eagles would tie the game up at two on Nathan Foster's goal at 4:38. The Eagles would take the first lead of the game at 7:39 on Brendan Davison's goal to make it 3-2. The Eagles would extend the lead to 4-2 at 11:09 on Brandon Buksa's first goal of the night. Then in the final seconds of the second period, Brandon Buksa would score his second of the night for the 5-2 Eagles lead. Then just 1:20 into the third period the Eagles would make it 6-2 on Kyle Constantly second goal of the night. Then just 12 seconds later Ryan Waterbury would make it 7-2. Then the Eagles Nathan Foster would get his second of the game at 2:40 to finish off the scoring and secure the Eagles 8-2 win. Chateaugay's Morgan Johnston (10) bumps off Beekmantown Alyssa Waters (1) and drives to the basket. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would travel to the Beekmantown and taken on the Eagles in a non-league JV game. It would be a game that very physical underneath points would come at a premium as the Eagles would hold the slight 11-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore the Eagles 12-10 to tie the game 21-21 at the half. The third quarter would be the deciding quarter of the game as the Eagles would win the quarter 21-8 and take a 42-29 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs just had no answer as they would lose the game 51-38. In the losing effort, Danielle and Alicia Cook would lead the way with 11 points as the Bulldogs suffer there first loss of the season. Gallery

It would be the first game of the 2013 edition of the Section 7/10 Challenge with the Beekmantown Eagles and the Brushton-Moria Panthers facing off at Plattsburgh. It would be a tight game for most of other than a run that the Eagles went on in the second half extending it to a 17 point lead. The Panthers would do there best to come back although it would fall short. As the Eagles would get the 56-49 victory with the win the Eagles fo to 2-4 while the Panthers fall to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead on Ryan Waterbury's goal at the 5:01 mark. Then with under two minutes left in the period the Eagles would extend it to 2-0 Kyle Bisonette's goal. Then inside the final minute the Eagles would score again with Nathan Foster on the shorthand for the 3-0 lead after one. Then early on in the second period Nathan Foster would get his second goal of the night for the 4-0 lead. Then at the 13:33 mark of the second period the Eagles would take a 5-0 lead on Kyle Bissonette's goal. Then just 1:33 into the third period Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick for the 6-0 lead. Then at 2:54 of the third period the Eagles would finish off the scoring assault to make it 7-0 on Kyle Bisonette's third of the night. The Chiefs would get a late goal in the third period on a scramble play in front as the Eagles get the 7-1 win. With the win the Eagles go to 3-0 while the Chiefs fall to 0-3-1 on the season.
