Malone Huskies Katie Lavoie (22) and the Ausable Valley defender battle for the ball on the court. The Malone Huskies would host the Ausable Valley Patroits in girls basketball. The Patroits got off to a quick 12-1 start and the Huskies were just not able to recover as the Patroits would get the 54-39 win. Chateaugay Bulldog's Abby Barnes (24) crashes into the defender while going for the shot on net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would start off there season with the 50-32 win over the Lisbon Golden Knights in nondivision action. Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be Courtney Boyea with 16 points. Also having a big night would be Caitlin Miller with 11 points and 15 rebounds.
