Modifieds Jason Criss (30) and Brian McGinley (35) take wheel to wheel into turn one with no contact and make it out the other end. It would be the third weekend of racing at Airborne and the first in a month because of rain outs. One this night we would have the Plattsburgh Ford/Aaron Night Renegade 100 along with the Modifieds, Late Models and Mini Modifieds. It would be some good racing through out the evening with a lot of fender banging and some crashes. As far as the features would go Chris Lavair would win the Mini Modifieds. Then next on tap would be the Late Models and Bobby Therein and Josh Masterson would fight it out for most of the race with Bobby Therein getting the slight win. Then next up would be the Modifieds in a race would be hard to get started with many early race caution once things got settled down Jamie LaFountain would earn his first career victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening the Renegade 100 there would be nineteen cars that would take the green flag but when the checkered flag flew there would only be eleven cars left through the carnage the eventual winner would be Jason McClatchie to get career win number one. Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slides under the tag at home plate to extend there lead. It would be a mid-week battle between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers at the Lefty Wilson field. The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth, both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. The Padres would go on to win by that 7-2 margin and improve to 7-1 on the season. Gallery

Dragoon's base runner slides under the tag at third base as he got two bases on the flyout. It would be the start of the second rotation of the first half of the Adirondack Slow Pitch League and would feature the Store Tavern and Dragoon's Farm Equipment. It would be a sea-saw an affair with both teams trading the lead back and forth throughout the night. The Dragoon's Farm Equipment would end up getting the eventual win by a score of 15-13. Dragoon's Farm Equipment would go to 7-4 while the Store Tavern would fall to 5-6 on the season. Gallery

Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slides in safe at the plate a head of the tag of the dodgers catcher for the game-winning run. We would have a mid-week game in Champlain Valley Baseball League action to start week four of the season between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers. The Dodgers would get the early lead 1-0 after the first inning. They would add a pair of runs in the second to make it a 3-0 lead. At the bottom of the third, the Padres would get on the board to make it 3-1. Then in the fourth, the Padres would have a big inning plating four runs to take the 5-3 lead. Then in the fifth the Dodgers would get one to make it 5-4 game. Then in the sixth, they would get two runs to regain the 6-5 lead. Then in the bottom of the seventh, the padres would get two including the game-winning head first slide by Shane Perrotte at the plate to get the 7-6 victory. It would be another night Adirondack Slow Pitch as the Store Tavern and Labatt Blue Light Lime would go to battle. It would start out low scoring as it would be 2-1 Store Tavern after the second inning. Then the flood gates would open for both teams as the Labatt Blue Light Lime would get the 13-8 victory. It would be another night of Adirondack Slow Pitch Softball action this time pitting the Store Tavern and Pound Town Softball. It would be a defensive game as both teams would be on their game. In what would be one of the lowest scoring slow pitch games the Store Tavern would get the 3-2 victory. With the win, the Store Tavern would go to 4-4 on the season. Gallery

It would be game 7 of Adirondack Slow Pitch League and it would pit the Store Tavern and Leroux Fuels. It would be a game that Store Tavern would take control of from the start to finish with some help with some costly errors by Leroux Fuels. With that being said the Store Tavern would get the 21-9 victory to go to 3-4 on the season. Gallery

Saranac's Hunter Williams (5) with the tag at second to get them would-be base stealer. It would be the last JV game of the season and it would match up the Saranac Chiefs and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would jump out to an 8-1 lead after the fourth inning. Then the Chiefs would slowly start crawling there way back into the game as they would get a couple in the fifth to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth, they would great three more to make it 8-6. Unfortunately though the rain would start coming and hard and the game would be called after the sixth inning to give the Eagles the 8-6 victory. Gallery

Mini-Modifieds Steven Hemingway (18ny) and Tyler Irwin (54) would get tangled up during the feature coming off of turn four. It would be week two of racing at Airborne Park Speedway with the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades, Modifieds and the fewature event the ACT Bill McBride Spring Green 115 presented by Interestate Batteries. The race event was originally scheduled for the night before but was moved back cause of bad weather. The dricers would come out to play and play hard on Sunday as the only walk away winner would be Dale O'Neill in the Mini-Modifieds. The in the second feature of the day it would be Leon Gonyo taking the checkered flag as he was chased hard by Nick Heywood through out the race. The next up would be the Renegades features and that would feature a couple of late race restarts and would see Josh Terry hold on against Shawn Duquette at the finish line for a photo finish victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the afternoon the ACT Spring Green 115 and it would be a two man race between Joey Polewarczyk and Patrick Laperle and the progressive banking would allow them to go side by side for many laps with the eventual win going to Joey Polewarczyk. The drivers of airborne are off until May 30th when the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades and Modifieds (Double Feature) will take to the take with the Endro Series. Gallery
