The game would be evenly matched for the first 30 minutes as neither team could light the lamp, but not for not having chances on the net. The Cardinals would finally break through on the powerplay at 10:35 when Mattie Norton sliced it through the defenders for the 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would open the scoring on the power play with Kayson Ruegge's goal at the 13:37 mark of the first period. The Cardinals would waste little time extending their lead to 2-0 on Tessa Morris's goal 2 minutes later. The game would remain there till the 11:05 mark of the third period when Mae Olshansky would score for the Cardinals and make it a 3-0 game. Then, to finish off the scoring for the Cardinals, a minute later, Kate Conlon lights the lamp and makes it a 4-0, and that's where the game would finish.
