Beekmantown's Kade Collins (9) with the wrister on the breakaway for the opening goal. It would be the season opener and feature the Beekmantown Eagles and LaSalle Cadets. The Eagles would get the lone goal in the first period with just about five minutes remaining from Kade Collins. In the second period the LaSalle Cadets would come back and get a pair of goals from Ryan Murray and Sam Balston to take a 2-1 lead. That is where the game would stay until 1:30 remaining in the game when Christain Wawrzynski would score to tie the game at 2. The teams would go to overtime but it would not help as they would finish tied at two. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Melissa Sheeran (22) dekes out the defenders and throws it over the goalie's shoulder for the goal. It would be the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting SUNYAC foe Potsdam State Bears. The game would start out slow for the Cardinals as they have a 1-0 lead after one on Melissa Sheeran's goal. In the second period, the Cardinals would find there groove as they would score twice from Melissa Sheeran (second goal) and Erin Brand. In the third period, the offense would continue with two goals from Melissa Sheeran (third goal) and Mackenize Millen for the 5-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 11 saves in the shutout as the Cardinals go to 10-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be the battle of a couple of north country foes as the #14 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Potsdam State Bears in Sunyac play. In the opening period the Bears would get on the board twice as they take a 2-0 lead after the first. In the second period, the Cardinals would fight back and tie the game in the second period with goals from Joe Drabin and Ross Sloan. In the third period the Cardinals offense with fours goals from Matt Quality (twice)and Kyle Hall and Cam Owens to secure the 6-2 victory. In the winning effort, Joshua Davies would make 26 saves as the Cardinals go to 5-3. Gallery.

Team Blue's Robert Reynolds raises up for the interception to save the touchdown. It would be week three of the Youth Indoor Flag Football season and feature Blue Vs White. Team White would get the only score of the first half to make it 6-0. While Team Blue would get the lone score of the second half to make it 6-6. That is where the game would end as Team Blue goes to 0-2-1 while team white is 1-1-1 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Nick Belger (24) crashes into the net with the puck and takes out the goalie in the process. It would be the third-place game of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout featuring the #11 Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Middlebury Panthers. The Cardinals would jump out and take the 2-0 lead after the first on goals from Nick Belger and Brady Pfaff. In the second period, the Panthers would fight back and get two goals of there own to tie it at 2. In the third period the Cardinals would ice the game away with three goals from Jesse Neher, Pat Egan and Joe Drabin to secure the 5-2 victory. In the winning effort, Joshua Davies would make 26 saves as the Cardinals go to 4-3 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Cole Stallard (20) with the power-play goal on the rebound as part of a two-goal night. It would be the host Plattsburgh State Cardinals and Concordia Cobbers in the First Round of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout. It would not start off good for the host Cardinals as they would give up two goals in the first period and trail 2-0. In the second period both offenses would come alive as the Cobbers would score twice and the Cardinals would get three goals two from Cole Stallard and another from Jesse Neher to make it 4-3 Cobbers after two. In the third period both defenses would step and there would be no scoring as the Cardinals fall 4-3. In the losing effort Brady Rouleau would stop 16 as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season. Team Blue's Robert Reynolds with the leaping catch in the back of the endzone for the score. It would be the opening weekend of the Indoor Youth Flag Football League and would feature Team Blue Vs Team Red. It would be a game that Team Red would have in control from the beginning as they would have a 21-8 lead at the half. When the teams came back for the second half Team Blue would try and come back and win the half 13-12. Although team red would hold on for the 33-21 victory. In the winning effort Team Red would go to 1-0 while Team Blue goes to 0-1. Gallery.

Cardinal Classic Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Sage Gators November 20 2016

Plattsburgh State's Monique Jones (10) slides around the defender and lays it off the window for the score as part of 8 point night. It would be the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Sage Gators for the Cardinal Classic Championship. The Sage Gators would job out to the 18-10 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the teams would be deadlocked at 13 and the Sage Gators would take the 31-23 at the half, When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals would win the third 21-16 although the Gators would still lead 47-44. In the fourth quarter, the defenses would step up and the Gators would win the quarter 10-5. The Cardinals would fall short as they lose 57-49 in the losing effort Jax Miller would lead the way 17 points as they fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Brandon Johnson (11) charges down the lane past the defender and takes flight for the layup as part of an eight-point night. It would be the finals of the Cardinals Classic and it would feature the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the RPI Engineers It would be a high octane first half and the Cardinals would have a 49-41 lead at the break. In the second half the intensity would keep up and the Cardinals would win the half 43-32 for the 92-73 victory. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 22 points and the Cardinals go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery.

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals before the start of the game would raise there 2016 National Championship banner to the rafters. It would be a clash of a pair of top 10 teams in ECAC-West action. The Cardinals would start off hot and not look back as they would get three goals in the first period from Meghan Kraus, Melissa Sheehan, and Kayla Meneghin for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would add three more goals from Jordan Lipton (twice) and Katelyn Turk for the 6-0 lead. In the third period, the teams would trade a pair of goals with the Cardinal goal coming from Kayla Meneghin shorthand goal second of the night as the Cardinals would hold on for the 7-1 victory. In the winning effort, Cammie Leonard would stop 22 as the Cardinals go to 5-0 on the season. Gallery
