It would be the Northern Regional Finals of the NYSPHSAA Class D Boy's Soccer tournament, and it would feature the #3 Heuvelton Bulldogs from Section X and the #4 Chazy Eagles from Section VII from the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse with a berth to the final four on the line. The Eagles would waste little time getting on the board in the 7th minute of the game on the masterful shot from Landon Duprey for the Eagle's 1-0 lead. The defenses would be on the mark for the rest of the half, as that would be the only half score. When the teams returned for the second half, the Eagles would strike early again, this time in the 43rd minute as Jacoby Weeden with the touch to give the Eagles the 2-0 lead. The Eagles would have their defense up to the task the rest of the game as they would hold on for the 2-0 lead and get the return trip to Middletown and the final four next weekend as they go to 17-2-1 on the season.
