It would be the final home game of the season for the Clinton Community College Cougars at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse as they would take on the 5-0-3 Onondaga Community College Lazers. The game would start well for the Lazers as they would score twice in the first five minutes from Josh Dabbiero and Kyle Partington for the early 2-0 lead. From there I thought the Cougar's defense would stand strong for the first half and that's where we would stand at the end of one. When the teams returned for the second half Kyle Partingtonfor the Lazers would score three straight goals in fourteen minutes to give the 5-0 lead. Then in the 70th minute, the Lazers would add another goal this time from Samuel Spicer, and take the 6-0 lead. Although a minute later the Cougars would finally get on the board and make it a 6-1 game on the Harvey Merrill goal. Then in the 88th minute, the Lazers would add another goal from Josh Dabbiero his second of the game as the Lazers secured the 7-1 victory. In the winning effort for the Lazers, they go to 6-0-3 on the season. As for the Cougar, Zamir Foster would make 16 saves on the evening but still fall to 1-7 on the season as they head out on the road next weekend to take on SUNY Niagra and Erie Community College.
