Blue Thunder III and Stever Fraser thunder down the track at 262 feet for the Modified Tractor win. The New York Tractor Pullers returned to the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburgh for the second consecutive year, packing the grandstands with fans eager for horsepower and noise. Four divisions—Limited Pro Tractors, Super Stock Diesel, Modified Tractors, and Modified Trucks—took center stage on a warm summer night. The Super Stock Diesels opened the program, where Code Red, driven by Ken Jamieson, set the tone with a 280‑foot pass. Mechanical trouble sidelined Old Black Witch and Mike Bain, giving Jamieson the victory and leaving the two tied atop the early‑season standings. Four machines rolled out for the Modified Tractors. Heaven Can Wait with Ken Angell posted the first mark at 246.26 feet, but Blue Thunder III and Steven Fraser quickly reset the bar with a strong 262.70‑foot run. Underestimated (Jeremy Smith) and the final entry both gave chase but came up roughly nine feet short. The Limited Pro Tractors produced one of the night’s biggest moments as Joey St. Mary and Cowboy Cattltleaic blasted out the back door with a massive 340‑foot pull. The remaining five competitors tried to reel him in, but Secret Weapon and Andre Bourdeau were the closest—still 28 feet off the winning distance. The Modified Trucks closed the show with six entries battling for bragging rights. Ma and Pa Headache set the early pace at 309 feet before Mad Dog and Todd Jarvis stormed past with a 321‑foot run. The final trio attempted to answer, but Yellow Fever settled for second, ten feet behind the leader. Jonathan Zakarauskas and The Hulk take the win in the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks by 4 inches over Mad Dog to start the season. It would be the opening hook of the 2025 season for the New York State Tractor Pullers Association, and they would return to the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburgh, New York, for the first time in over 25 years. They would bring 4 of their top divisions with the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks, Modified Tractors, Super Stock Diesel, and the Limited Pro 4.1 Diesel Tractors in front of a packed house. There would be problems with the track throughout the night because the new clay laid before the fair had not had time to settle. After the first class, the New York Tractor Pullers would actually flip the track and pull in the opposite direction. The first class out of the gate would be the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks, and it would see eight of the best hook to the new clay, and when the dust settled, The Hulk and Jonathan Zakarauskas would get the win by 4 inches over Mad Dog and Todd Jarvis, and just 4.5 feet over White Lightning and Alex Otis. Then it would be the Limited Pro 4.1 Tractors, and there would be ten that would show up to start the season, and the win would go to No Common Cents without question, as he would win the class by over 15 feet on Pure Breed Red and Tyler Audet. Then next up would be the Super Stock Diesel, and they would have 11 in the class, and the win would go to the nameless Chris Komarony with a pull of 318.86 to beat out Burt Stannard and Determination by over ten feet. Then, to finish out the night, it would be the mighty Modified Tractors, and they would be bringing three of the best for the crowd, and the New Yorker and Lee Bement would get the win over Heaven Can Wait and Ken Angell by nine feet. That would end the night of pulling and the return of the New York Tractor Pullers to the Clinton County Fair. Mike Overpeck and Social Distancing blowing diesel down the track to 299 feet for a fourth place finish in the Hot Farm class. It would be the annual truck and tractor pull from the Franklin County Fair and a combination show between the Northern New York Truck and Tractor Pullers and the New York Hot Farm Series and would see a combined 85 hooks on the day. There would be all different types of trucks and tractors on the day from stock trucks and tractors to the Super Stock 4x4 Trucks and the Altered Stock Tractors in front of a crowd of about 1,000 people in the grandstands. We would start the day with the stock tractors and there would be 6 classes on the day the winners would be Alle Friend, Gene Chauvin, Charley Botto (twice), and Josh Carter (twice). Then we would have the Altered Stock Tractors and the winners in the afternoon would be John Myers. Then to finish off the tractor portion of the show we would have the New York Hot Farm and the winners would be Mike Hessling, Cody Eisenhut, Matthew Loucks, and Spencer Meade. Then, in the afternoon the rain and the break would be the evening portion and it would be nothing but trucks and start with the Stock Trucks and the winners would be Paul Fitzgerald, Will Dushane, and Erick Dushane. Then in the Super Stock Trucks, it would be Todd Jarvis and Mad Dog over the Yellow Fever. Then to finish the day of pulling it would be the Pro Diesel Trucks and Mike Wilson and Fred would win over Gary Corey Pure Sugar by 2 feet. Jack Bone and the Barnyard Bully wth a pull of 274 feet that would give him a sixth-place finish in the Super Farm Tractors class The New York State Tractor Pullers would make their annual return to the Franklin County Fair to close out the week at the fair and also end a four-day stretch of pulling for the NYTPA. The NYTPA would bring six classes for the evening with the Modified Tractors, Super Stock Tractors, Super Stock Trucks, Super Farm Tractors, Limited Pro Tractors, and the Two Wheel Drive Trucks with a total of 40 entries. First out of the box would be the Super Stock Trucks and the winner would be All Bottled Up and Dan Komarony with a pull of 314 feet beating out the Mad Dog by four feet for the win. Then next up would be the would-be Limited Pro Tractors and the winner would be Roddy Burns and Blindside by just over three feet over the Udder Obsession. Then we would have the mighty Two Wheel Drive Trucks and the winner would be the Bear Express as he would put about 20 feet on the competition as the old Ken Brockman Kodiak truck lives on. Then we would have the Super Farm Tractors and the first tractor out the Addiction and Nate Williams would lay down the mark to beat and they would all come after him but Extreme Pleasure would come the closest but would still be nine feet away to give the Addiction the win. Then we would have the Modified Tractors their numbers might have been small but they were not lacking in power as one had two jet turbines and the others were both with allision aircraft engines and the jet turbines would get the win with Lee Poement and the New York. Then to finish of the evening would be the Super Stock Tractors and the win would go to Robbie Horton and the Lil Less Patience by just over foot over Lance Micek and High Hopes. The NYTPA will be back in action in just three short days as they will invade the Delaware County Fair on August 16th. Gallery

Keenan Carter and the Carter Pulling Team has a pass to reflect on as they charge down the track in the Hot Farm Tractors class. It would be the opening night of the Clinton County Fair and it would be the annual truck and tractor pull brought to you by the Adirondack Truck Tractor Pullers with 12 classes and just over 50 entries ranging from Stock Truck and Tractors all the way up to the Super Stock Trucks and the Limited Pro Desiel Trucks. Full Pull would be the name of the day as there were many hooks that were over 300 feet and there was a good amount that still went over 400 feet and the best one of the day was about 510 feet. The winner of the 12 classes would be Fay Cheney (Enhanced Gas Trucks), Dawson Bourdeau (Hot Farm Tractors), Walter Cheney ( Stock StreetTrucks), Dayton Roberts (Work Trucks), Rick Abare (2.5 Desiel Trucks), Jon Babbie (9,500lb & 13,00lb Stock Tractors), Gene Chauvin (8,000lb Stock Tractors), Caniac (Two Wheel Drive Trucks), John Myers (Altered Stock Tractors), Mike Wilson (Pro Limited Desiel Trucks) and Joey Michad (Super Stock Trucks).
