Princeton's Angelina DiGirolamo would tie the game up with 12 minutes left and send the game to overtime. It would be the second semi-final of the ECAC Hockey Conference Women's Semi-Finals at the Herb Brooks Arena, and 1,000 fans would see whether the #2 Princeton Tigers or the #3 Quinnipiac Bobcats would battle the Yale Bulldogs for the 2026 ECAC Hockey Conference Women's Hockey Finals tomorrow The Bobcats would get the opening goal of the game at the the 11:38 mark of the first period when Taylor Brueske would score to make it a 1-0 Bobcats. There would be many chances for both teams to score until the midway point of the third period. Still, there would be nothing till the 8:38 when Princeton's Angelina Digirolamo would score to tie the game at one, and that is where the game would stay through the rest of regulation Once the game went to vertime it would take little time for the Bobcats to net the game winner when Avery Bairos would get her own rebound off the breakaway and stuff it away for the game winner and send the Bobcats to the championship. In the winning effort, the Bobcats' Felicia Frank would make 30 saves as they went to 27-8-3 and head to the championship. As for the Princeton Tigers, they would fall to 23-10 behind Uma Corniea's 23-save night as they await an NCAA Tournament bid. Gallery
