The Clinton Community College Cougars would host the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers at the Forrence Center as they finished off a week in which they played 4 games, 3 of them at home. It would be a game of runs throughout the first half as the Cougars would have as big a lead as ten, and then the Lakers would come back to take the lead by 6, and when the first half ended, it would be Clinton 41-37 as they looked for their second straight win. When the teams returned for the second, the Cougars would look to take control of the game, going up big. Still, the Lakers would keep fighting back,k and with 5 minutes left, they would have a 5-point lead, and the Cougars couldn't make it up as the Lakers would get the 80-77 victory. The Clinton Community College would return home to start the 2026 portion of their season as they would take on the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings in NJCAA Region III action. It would be a game of runs, but the Vikings would always seem to have just a little more or just a little better run, and they would have the 43-33 lead after the first half. When the teams returned for the second half, it would be more of the same. Still, the Cougars would have their chances, getting within a couple of points at different times. Still, mental mistakes down the stretch would cost the Cougars, as they would win the half 44-39 but fall 82-7. In the losing effort for the Cougars, they were led by Jeffrey Collins Weeks III, who went to 3-8 on the season. As for the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings, Julius Reed led the way with 33 points as they improved to 6-8 in the season. The Clinton Community College would return home to start the 2026 portion of their season as they would take on the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings in NJCAA Region III action. We would have NJCAA Division III Region III Men's Basketball from Clinton Community College, with the home Cougars hosting the visiting Jefferson Community College Cannoneers, who would get back on the winning track after yesterday's loss to Onondaga Community College. The game would be tight through the first half as the teams would trade the lead back and forth, and when the intermission hit, the Cannoners would have the slim 36-34 lead. When the teams returned for the second half, the Cannoners would explode out of the gate and take a quick 16-point lead and look to have the game in hand. Clinton's Jay-den Matos (1) goes up and around the defender for the basket as part of the 90-76 win over Fulton Montgomery Wednesday night. The Clinton Community College Cougars would be back at home as they welcomed the Fulton Montgomery Raiders, a fellow Region III opponent, looking to build on their win last week in the early season. Both teams entered the game at 1-1. The teams would play at a high-octane pace, up and down the court, and the first half would be tight throughout, with the Raiders leading 52-47 at the break. When the teams returned for the second half, the Raiders would keep it up and extend their lead to almost 15 before the Cougars would start to find the nylon, before they would turn up the jets and be off to the races as the Cougars would win the half 48-31 and secure the 90-76 victory. It would be the Clinton Community College and the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves from the Clinton Community gym in NJCAA Region III Men's Basketball action. The home Cougars would be looking to avenge their season-opening loss, and they would be off to a good start as they would jump out to a 46-300 lead at the intermission. In the second half, though, the Timberwolves would do their best to get back in the game, nd in the closing seconds of the half, they would tie the game at 8. Although the Cougars would have one last chance, Jeffrey Weeks II would get the 85-83 victory. Clinton Community's Parker Manor (1) with the diving stop on Hudson Valley's Joseph Davis shot attempt as part of a 15-save night in a 4-0 loss to the Vikings. It would be the last game of the regular season for the Clinton Community College Cougars as they would host Hudson Valley Community College in the NJCAA Region III at the Plattsburgh State Field House. The game was tight through most of the first half until the Vikings opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Michael Robyck scored the opening goal, giving the Vikings a 1-0 lead. That's how the first half ended. The game would stay there tuntilthe 67th minute when the Vikings would extend ttheirlead 2to -0 on the Joseph Davis goal The game would stay there until the final 3 minutes of the match, when the Vikings struck twice from Camryn Curet and Eli Charlebois, securing a 4-0 victor In the winning effort for the Vikings Juan Rivas would make one save for the shutout as they go to 6-6 on the season. As for the Cougars, Parker Manor would make 15 saves as they finish out their season at 1-9-1. Gallery
