The Plattsburgh State Cardinals Men's Soccer would return to the field house soccer complex for the first time in three weeks ranked 17th in the national and would play host to the R.P.I. Engineers from the Liberty League. The match would be tight through the first half as both teams would take their chance and get the opening goal of the match but that would not happen in the first half. The opening goal would finally come in the 61st minute when the Cardinals' Tristan Laundree would score from inside the 18-yard box. The Cardinals going off the adrenaline of the goal would add to their lead just 7 minutes later on the John Hayes goal in the 68th minute. From there, the Cardinal's defense would stand tall, not allow anything from the Engineers, and get the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Teddy Healy would get the shutout victory as they stay undefeated at 5-0-2 while the Engineers would fall to 2-4 on the season.
