PLATTSBURGH — Carly Hagadorn scored three goals and reached the 100-point milestone for her varsity career as No. 20 Beekmantown defeated rival Plattsburgh 8-1 in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer action Tuesday. The Eagles (6-2-1) took control early and never looked back. Olivia Hagadorn opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Carly Hagadorn added goals in the 19th and 28th minutes to make it 3-0. Lucy Conroy extended the lead with goals in the 33rd and 37th minutes, sending Beekmantown into halftime with a commanding 5-0 advantage. The Eagles continued to pour on the offense after the break as Carly Hagadorn completed her hat trick in the 48th minute. Conroy later recorded a hat trick of her own, while Addison Steele also found the back of the net. Lizzy Chase scored the Hornets' lone goal (1-7-1). With the win, Beekmantown improved to 6-2-1 and will host Northeastern Clinton on Sept. 30. Plattsburgh will travel to AuSable Valley on the same day. Gallery
