It would be the last weekend of the regular season in SUNYAC Women's Hockey and it would be a match up of the top two teams in the league as the #13 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in front of 350 fans the dared the snowstrom outside. The Cardinals would take the 3-0 lead into the third when Emily Kasprzak would score on the power play at the 12:39 mark of the period for the 4-0 lead The Red Dragons would eventually get on the board with a goal from Drew Kopek to make it 4-1 in the game Although the Cardinals would add one more with 23 seconds left from Riley Keller to gice the Cardinals the 5-1 win. In the winning effort for the Cardinals Maddy Stetson would make 20 saves as they go to 17-6-1 on the season. For the Red Dragons, they combined for 26 saves as they fell to 14-6-4 on the season.
