The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would welcome the #1 Hobart Statesmen to the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena in front of 1,250 fans for the first time as conference foe The game would not start well for the home Cardinals as the Statesmen would get three goals in the first period from Easton Ryan, Tanner Daniels, and Arvega Hovsepyan as they would trail 3-0 after one. In the second period, it wouldn't be much better, as the Statesmen would get a couple more goals from Tamas Roth and Easton Ryan (second of the night), making it a 5-0 game at the end of two. In the third period, the Statesmen would finish off the bashing of the Cardinals with another pair of goals from Dominic Schimizzi and Arvega Hovespyan (second of the game) as they would fall 7-0. In the winning effort for the Statesmen Damon Beaver would make 22 saves for the shutout as they stay undeefated at 17-0 as they head to there game against Skidmore, As for the Cardinals Spry and Lane would combine for 46 saves as they fall to 8-9 and will look to right the ship tomorrow night against time foe the #3 Oswego State Lakers.
