The Rams answered back at the 7:05 and 11:50 marks of the second period from Bella Schmidt and Ava Buckley to make it a 6-3 game. The Cardinals would have another answer at the 17:55 mark from Kate Conlon to make it a 7-3 game, and that's where the second period would end. The Cardinals would add one more in the third period from Piper Smith, as they cruised to an 8-3 win. In the winning effort for the Cardinals, Chloe Lewis would make 8 saves on the night as they go to 9-5-1 as they head back into conference play.
