The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 7:12 mark of the first period when Zoe Puc would find the back of the nnetfor the 1-0 lead. The Rams would fight back and tie the game at the 11:40 mark of the period, when Bella Schmidt scored to make it a-1 The Cardinals would come back and regain the lead at 2-1 on a power-play goal by Seeyoung Yoo at the 17:30 mark of the first. In the second period, the Cardinals would get the lone goal of the period at the 11:34 mark when Kayson Ruegge scored a shorthanded marker to make it 3- The game would stay there till the 10:06 mark of the third when Kayson Ruegge would net her second of the game to increase the lead to 4-1 Then just a minute later Brooke Terry would score for the Cardinals to make it a 5-1 game. The Cardinals ended their three-minute blitz with a goal from Emily Kasprzak to make it 6-1, and they would cruise to the win. In the Cardinals' winning effort, Chloe Lewis made 14 saves as they went to 8-5 on the season.
