SUNYAC Men's Hockey 1st Round #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs #5 Morrisville State Mustangs February 23rd 2011
Plattsburgh State's Patrick Jobb (9) with the hard in the boards to gain the puck back. After jumping out to a 2-0 lead the Cardinals would need a late 3rd-period goal to send the game to overtime. Then in the overtime period with 8 minutes remaining Jason Docking would send the home crowd home happy with the game-winner of a rebound. With the win Cardinals will head to Geneseo this weekend to take on #2 Geneseo Ice Knights in the SUNYAC semi-finals. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Ryan Craig (11) ends up in the net with the puck as the Cardinals would score to take the 2-0 lead on the crash of the net scrambling for the loose. Plattsburgh State's Ryan Farnan (44) picks up rebounded puck and slides it under the Potsdam goalie or the goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the convincing 9-2 victory over there north country rival the Potsdam Bears. Although they needed to wait until games were over Saturday to find out there fate in the SUNYAC playoffs. When the dust settled they will be hosting Morrisville State on February 23rd in the first round of the playoffs. Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jared Dockings (39) with the crunching hit along the boards of the Brockport State Golden Eagle defender. The #13 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get off to a slow start as they would trail 2-1 after the first period. The Cardinals would rebound though over the remaining couple periods and get three unanswered goals to get the 4-2 win over the Brockport State Golden Eagles. With the win, the Cardinals would complete the weekend sweep of Brockport State and Geneseo State. Gallery

Plattsburgh States Kyle Kudroch (20) sidesteps one defender and steps over the other on his way to the net. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get a 4-2 win over the Ice Knights. The win would avenge an early set back to Ice Knights and keep them on pace in the SUNYAC's coming down the stretch. Gallery
NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Primelink Great Northern Shootout Championship Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs #1 Norwich Cadets November 29th 2010
Plattsburgh State's Jared Docking (39) tried to slide it into the bottom corner although the Norwich goalie gets the glove on the pick at the last minute. The game would be tied at o after the 1st period. Then the Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead just two minutes into the 2nd period on the Eric Satim goal. Although the Cadets would answer right back to tie the game at 1 three minutes later. The Cadets would take the 2-1 8 minutes into the third. Then the Cardinals would score two goals in just over a minute from Nick Jensen and Matt Bessing to capture the title 3-2. In the winning effoer John Leis stops 29 shots and Eric Satim was named the touranment MVP. Gallery

Primelink Great Northern Shootout Championship Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs #1 Norwich Cadets November 29th 2010
Plattsburgh State's Cole Stallard (20) with the power-play goal on the rebound as part of a two-goal night. It would be the host Plattsburgh State Cardinals and Concordia Cobbers in the First Round of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout. It would not start off good for the host Cardinals as they would give up two goals in the first period and trail 2-0. In the second period, both offenses would come alive as the Cobbers would score twice and the Cardinals would get three goals two from Cole Stallard and another from Jesse Neher to make it 4-3 Cobbers after two. In the third period, both defenses would step and there would be no scoring as the Cardinals fall 4-3. In the losing effort, Brady Rouleau would stop 16 as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season.
